Later that night Diana went to a bar to celebrate with her friend Bella. There were sitting at a bar with bottles of beers. Bella was looking at her friend while she was talking about her engagement.
"Tomorrow it's my engagement with Alexander Harrison." Diana said bragging. Bella's eyes widened. Alexander Harrison. That man was untouchable. It is even more difficult to meet him. How did her friend do it?
"How did you meet him?" Bella asked eager to know. Diana chuckled and looked at her friend with a smug look on her face.
"Who wouldn't want me? We have been together for months now. He proposed and his mother decided we should quickly get married this weekend." Diana responded while lying through her teeth.
"Woa. Diana how about I also meet him. I heard he has a little brother. Just help me to meet him. I have always liked him. Max is so dreamy." Bella said swooning and Diana chuckled.
"Of course I will. After all I'm going to be his sister in law officially. Don't worry leave it to me." Diana said confidently. Bella was like a minion. She was Diana's best friend and also assistant. They have known each other for years. They partied till late and hooked up with strangers.

The day of the engagement arrived and they were having it at Golden Hotel which is owned by the Harrison family. It was evening and there were media people. Everyone entered the hall admiring the decorations and all.
The guests were wearing red gowns and white suits. The hall was filled with rich people and prestigious families. Elizabeth was mingling with the guests. Isla was talking to some of her friends. Max was not even there. The ceremony started. Elizabeth went on stage.
"Today is a great day indeed. My son is getting engaged to Diana Sinclair. Please welcome my pride, my son, Alexander Harrison." The crowd cheered while Alexander made his way to the stage.
In a black suit Alexander looked like those hot mafia kings. Girls were drooling over him. He was every girl's dreams. He got on stage and hugged his mother. Elizabeth smiled and turned to the crowd.
"Please welcome my soon to be daughter in law. Diana Sinclair."
Diana entered in a long black dress that hugged her curves. Every lady was feeling jealous of her because she won Alexander the most wanted bachelor in the city. She reached the stage and Alexander being a gentleman helped her on stage making everyone scream at his romantic gesture.
Diana looked at the sea of crowd and she was satisfied. Finally she is getting engaged to Alexander. She looked at Alexander. She was drooling over him. Her heart was beating so fast while looking at him.
'He is all mine. Wow. Just wait till I become Lady Harrison.' she thought.
Alexander just smiled at her making him look more handsome. The event started and the couple exchanged rings. The crowd applauded and congratulated them. They started to mingle with the guests. Alexander started talking to some business men.
"Wow Diana you must have saved a planet in your past life to get such a rich and handsome fiance." One lady said feeling jealous.
"You are so lucky. I bet he will treat you like a queen. Your fame has even sky rocketed." The other one chimmed in.
"Of course my friend deserves the best. Treat us well maybe you might benefit something." Bella said with arrogance.
"Well soon I will be Lady Harrison. My fiance loves me. He spoils me too much and imagine how will spoil me now as his wife." Diana said with arrogance.
The other ladies felt jealous. Meanwhile Mrs Sinclair and her husband were talking with some business men and women.
"Mr Sinclair you are one lucky man. Your daughter got the richest man in the country. You are so lucky." One of the guest said trying to suck up to him.
"Well treat us well in the future. Ever since they got engaged we got even more business deals. " Mr Sinclair boasted. His wife chuckled.
"Being Alexander's mother in law is amazing. You know the man is always worrying about us. They have been together for months and during the time he always visits and spoil us." Mrs Sinclair lied through her teeth.
Her husband smirked. Being in laws with the Harrison family will benefit them in the future. They can have the Harrison family as their backing. The Sinclair family was now arrogant than ever. The engagement party ended and only the Harrison and Sinclair family were left.
"Why don't you two talk for sometime?" Mrs Sinclair said to Alexander and Diana. Diana winked at her mother and she nodded. Elizabeth thought about it.
"Of course why not. If Alex is not that busy." Elizabeth said turning to her son.
"It's okay we can talk. I will drop her off." The families agreed as they left and Diana got in Alexander's car. She adjusted her cleavage while Alexander was entering the car.
"Alex, you look handsome. I'm glad we are getting married. We are perfect for each other." Diana said making the driver look at her. She rolled her eyes at the driver turning her attention to Alexander.
"Well, I have a meeting in an hour. I have to drop you home." Alexander said ignoring what she just said. Diana was not pleased at all.
"Don't you think we should get to know each other?" Diana asked. Alexander typing on his phone replied coldly.
"We have enough time. You will be my wife." Only then did Diana calm down. She is finally going to be with him. They have all the time and he will be all over her.
The entire ride was silent as Alexander did not try to converse with her. They reached her home and she got off. She was about to say goodbye when the car left. She clenched her fists and got inside.
Her mother frowned already seeing her home already. She thought they would spend the entire night together. Diana entered the mansion angrily and removed her heels harshly.
"Diana what happened? Weren't you supposed to spend time with Alexander?" Her mother asked. Diana scoffed.
"He left saying he had work and dropped me here. I didn't even say goodbye he just started the car, the moment I got off." She said angrily.
"Calm down baby. Look its fine. Tolerate him for now. In two days the two of you will get married. You will take over the Harrison household. Lots of servants and you can even rule over Elizabeth." Diana absorbed her mother's words and she felt better.
"Yes mother that's right. I will rule over the Harrison household." Diana responded with a smirk. "That's my girl."

Alexander arrived home and his family was in the living room. He sat down making everyone look at him with a questionable gaze.
"Please. You know I can't tolerate that girl." He said making everyone laugh at him. Alexander looked around the house and his mother chuckled. "She is asleep." Alexander nodded and retired to his room.
The morning sun shined bright over the Harrison Mansion. The servants were busy serving breakfast while the gaurds patrolled the mansion. The dining table was filled with delicious food.
The family members were having their breakfast quietly until a scream echoed in the mansion. Alexander stood up immediately and rushed up stairs. The others followed him worry and concern showing on their faces.
Th maids whispered among each other quietly afraid of being caught by any member of the family.
Upstairs they saw a maid crawling with a knife stabbed on her stomach. "Ma-d-am I- she-" she couldn't finish her words and lost her life. Elizabeth sighed and Alexander walked past the maid not even looking at her and rushed to a room.
"Guard!" Elizabeth shouted. One of their trusted guard rushed and already knew the assignment. He took the body and left through the other door so that no one can see him.
"Mama." Isla said and Elizabeth already knew what she wanted to say. Max chuckled and turned to leave while others followed behind him.
That day Alexander never left the house. He was supposed to go shopping with Diana for wedding gowns but he bailed on her.

Diana was in the wedding store looking at the dresses. Alexander was supposed to be with her but she only received a message.
'Busy'
From Alexander. She almost threw her phone in anger and decided to concentrate on her shopping. She comforted herself and continued her shopping with Bella.
"You don't think he is cheating?" Bella asked making Diana frown. "He wouldn't." Diana responded.
"I heard some rumours that his childhood sweetheart stays at their mansion." Bella said.
"Please they are just rumours." Diana responded.
"I heard she is beautiful. They call her beauty goddess. She is the only daughter of the Danvers family." Bella added.
Diana scoffed not believing it. "What's her name again?" She asked. Bella thought for a while.
"Scarlett Ruby Danvers" Diana felt a shiver run down her spine by hearing the name. She vowed no one will take her man away not even Scarlett.
