CHAPTER 2: SEPARATED
After they were separated, Astra, Selina, Natch, Raqel, and Tirta were thrown into the Japanese Pantheon and were welcomed warmly by Izanagi.
However, in stark contrast to them, Labra, Leon, Yakari, Clover, Satya, and Lauren were instead thrown into the Mesopotamian Pantheon. When they woke up, they were already in a foreign place. Suddenly, a man appeared with long blue hair and a sturdy physique.
Clover: "Who are yo—"
Suddenly, the man immediately covered Clover's mouth and they hid. Two people passed by them. After those individuals had gone some distance away, the man introduced himself as Enki.
Enki: "Do not speak loudly without caution; this is not a place for you to enjoy yourselves. Furthermore, from which Pantheon are you Gods? Your forms are like humans, yet you can use Rahsk."
Labra: "We are indeed humans. We were taught by Anubis to master Rahsk and trained to defeat Osiris."
Enki: "Huh? Egypt? I thought they had gone extinct because of their very primitive lifestyle."
Yakari: "I do not care about that, but what exactly is happening here?"
Enki: "Sigh. Long ago, Babylonia was the most successful Pantheon among all others, but it sacrificed many children and innocent people. This was all because of the corrupt leadership of Gilgamesh. Together with Ishkur and Marduk, I sealed them away, and I was assigned to guard this seal from the inside. However, Gilgamesh is always targeting me. The story is much longer, but I will keep it brief. Wait... you are HUMANS?"
Clover immediately retaliated by covering Enki's mouth.
Labra: "We have been telling you that from the beginning."
Enki suddenly struck Clover, sending him flying very far.
Enki: "Wait, how is it possible for you to come here?"
Leon: "We were thrown by Anubis toward Japan, but there was an interference that caused us to separate, and we ended up in Mesopotamia instead."
