Shani finally seemed to return from his thoughts as he took a slow breath.
Then he lifted his head.
He still did not look directly toward Yami.
Instead, he extended his palm.
A ring appeared within it.
It was dark and elegant, shaped around the figure of a raven.
Two small red gemstones formed its eyes, and even without Shani explaining its nature, there was something unsettling about those tiny crimson stones.
Devara looked at it carefully.
Shani spoke quietly.
"This is an artifact closely connected to me."
He held the ring toward Devara.
"It carries a portion of my divine authority. When worn by another, it allows my Drishti to fall upon those who oppose its wielder or those who act against him from behind his back."
Devara's expression became thoughtful.
