The house was nothing like Asli expected.
It wasn't dark or abandoned.
It was beautiful.
Large. Elegant. Almost peaceful.
But none of that mattered.
Because she wasn't free.
"You'll stay here," Ferhat said as they entered.
Asli turned sharply. "Stay? I'm not your prisoner!"
He looked at her, unfazed. "You don't have a choice."
Her anger flared. "You can't just kidnap me and expect me to—"
"I can."
The simplicity of his answer silenced her.
He stepped closer, his presence overwhelming. "You saw something you shouldn't have."
Her voice softened, desperation creeping in. "I won't tell anyone…"
"I know."
That surprised her.
"Then why—"
"Because I don't trust the world," he interrupted.
His gaze locked onto hers. "And I don't take risks."
Asli felt something shift inside her.
This wasn't just control.
It was fear.
Hidden. Buried. But there.
"You're afraid," she said quietly.
For a split second—
Something flickered in his eyes.
But it was gone just as quickly.
"Stay in your room," he said coldly. "Don't test me."
And just like that…
The walls closed in.
