Chapter 1 - A SORTY OF DANCING GIRL

In the small town where she grew up, people knew her as "the dancing girl." Whenever there was a wedding, a festival, or even a simple family gathering, someone would say, "Call Sapna!" And she would arrive with a bright smile, her anklets softly chiming, ready to turn any moment into magic.

But Sapna's life wasn't always as joyful as her dances.

Her father had been a tailor, working day and night to support the family. After he fell ill, the responsibility of earning money slowly shifted onto Sapna's shoulders. While others saw her dancing as entertainment, for her it became a way to survive.

Every evening, she practiced on the terrace of her small house. The sky would turn orange, then purple, and Sapna would lose herself in rhythm. Her feet moved with precision, her hands told stories, and her expressions carried emotions words never could.

One day, a traveling cultural troupe came to town. They were looking for new talent. Sapna's friend insisted she audition.

"Nobody will choose me," Sapna said quietly. "I just dance at local functions."

"Then show them what you do," her friend replied. "That's enough."

With hesitation in her heart but determination in her steps, Sapna went.

When her turn came, she stood on the stage, nervous. The hall was bigger than anything she had seen. Important-looking people sat in the front row, watching silently.

For a moment, she froze.

Then she remembered her father's words: "Dance like no one is judging you. Dance like it's your truth."

The music began.

Sapna closed her eyes—and danced.

She danced like the wind, free and untamed. She danced like the river, flowing with grace. Every spin, every gesture carried her struggles, her dreams, her hope. The room fell silent, not because there was nothing to say—but because everyone was completely lost in her performance.

When the music stopped, there was a pause.

And then—thunderous applause.

Sapna opened her eyes, startled. Tears filled them as she saw people standing, clapping just for her.

That day changed everything.

Sapna was selected for the troupe. She traveled to cities she had only heard about, performed on big stages, and slowly became known far beyond her town. Yet, she never forgot where she came from.

Years later, when she returned home, the same small town welcomed her with pride. But this time, people didn't just call her "the dancing girl."

They called her Sapna—the girl who turned her dreams into reality.

And every evening, on the same terrace where it all began, Sapna still danced—not for money, not for fame—but for the pure joy that had always lived in her heart.
