Chapter 126 - Time is running out

In the sixth world, Raymus was flying with Yukari, who was about three years old and had begun to speak somewhat. Lina and Wang were sitting below, watching the scene.

Lina said, "I'm happy to see the smile and joy on Raymus's face again."

Wang said, "Yes. Despite the destructive power inside him, having something that gave value to his life is what strengthened his gentle feelings. I'm certain that, with time, he will be able to return to his kind and humble nature."

Lina said, "Yes, that will happen. I remember that once my brother told me that when Raymus first met him on the planet Celestine, he treated him coldly and without friendliness, and that on one occasion he abandoned him with some other people. But what actually happened was that Raymus was trying to keep Arios away from those bad people. He is a good person deep inside, but circumstances were against him. He never lived with his mother and never really got to know her properly. He told me that he lived with his father, who always wanted him to be strong and harsh like him. But I know that Raymus is completely different from that."

Wang said, "In reality, people always show a side that isn't their true side because they believe others will accept that side, and they are afraid to show their true selves because they think others will reject who they really are. That is why Raymus hides his kindness. The nature of the Destruction Power was not designed for someone who has a family or someone who lives for a purpose. It was designed for someone who came to see the world as something worthless. That is why things are extremely difficult for Raymus. He is currently trying to fight himself in order to overcome that nature. If he succeeds, he will be the first ruler to accomplish such a thing. Even Arlen herself failed to do so in the past, as did many of the previous rulers."

Lina said, "I'm optimistic that this will happen one day."

Wang said, "Yes. It will."

In Nahira's palace, which existed above the worlds, Nahira sat upon her throne with complete dignity. Smith and Ramen stood before her.

Nahira said, "Listen to me carefully. I'm in a very good mood today. But tell me, is the First World in a better state after my absence? And how is the new ruler?"

Smith said, "My lady, I would like to impress you and say that ever since Lady Clarisse took control of the First World, it has become excellent. However, of course, it is not as good as it was when you were there."

Nahira said, "Naturally. No one can do what I do. Still, it is good that I placed my sister there instead of putting some failure in charge."

She then asked, "How is she?"

Smith said, "My lady, for the past two years, she has been working and managing the world. She has not mentioned Arios's name even once. It seems that she has truly begun to forget him and is no longer interested in him."

Nahira smiled.

"Good. That is wonderful news. It means my plan succeeded."

She then looked at Ramen and said, "What about you? Are you ready for your task?"

Ramen said, "I'm always ready."

Nahira said, "Good. But be careful. Your task will begin soon, and I cannot guarantee that you will remain alive afterward if your identity is discovered."

Ramen said, "Don't worry, my lady. I was born for this."

Nahira said, "There is just one thing I want to know. What is the reason behind all this hatred and resentment toward him?"

Ramen said, "There are things you would not understand, my lady. But I promise you will be pleased with me once I complete the task."

Nahira said, "Listen to me, Ramen. I hate saying this, but Arios is now a ferocious monster. You can no longer stand in front of him and say, 'I will kill you,' and expect to survive. He has become a monster who shows no mercy to anyone. Approaching his family would be an extremely dangerous idea, as if you were willingly throwing yourself into a pit of flames. I also heard that Arios has had a young son for two years now. He disappeared for all this time because of his family. How touching... and disgusting."

Ramen said, "Does he really have a son?"

Nahira said, "Yes."

Ramen smiled.

"Then this will be my chance for revenge."

Nahira said, "Be careful with what you say. Arios now possesses the Knowledge Vault. If, by chance, it occurs to him to use it to learn the identities of the people targeting him through the chamber, he will eliminate them before they even think about approaching him. Therefore, you must be careful about your plans. I am also fully aware of Arios's weaknesses, and I possess a weakness that will bring him down before me immediately."

Smith was shocked.

"Really?"

Nahira smiled.

"Yes. But for now, let us not give ourselves a headache over him. Also, what happened to Jelius? He has been absent for years and hasn't made a move until now."

Smith said, "He has been in the Sixth World for a long time, but no one knows what he is doing there."

Nahira said, "It doesn't matter. But if you find him, kill him immediately. He is of no use."

Smith bowed.

"As you wish."

Then he said, "However, my lady, I would like to ask you something. Who is your new assistant?"

Nahira smiled.

"He will appear soon. I'm currently training him so that he will be suitable."

Smith said, "As you wish, my queen."

The two of them left the hall.

Nahira smiled maliciously.

"Very soon... Hahaha."

In the Zero World, Rayn was sitting with Dazai, whose features seemed to have changed.

Rayn said, "Boss, I can see your condition. You don't look well. I think I came at an inappropriate time."

Dazai said, "Quite the opposite. I'm in the best condition I've ever been in. In fact, I've been waiting for the day you would come."

Clinton entered and said, "Dazai, here are all the remaining assets. They amount to approximately 82 septillion coins, based on access, properties, and holdings."

Dazai said, "It's good to see you, Klein."

Clinton said, "I want to tell you something because I'm leaving now."

Dazai said, "What is it?"

Clinton said, "I'm resigning, my colleague. I found a better job opportunity. And you know how the business world is, my friend."

Dazai said, "But you are our business manager, Clinton. We can't afford to lose you."

Klein said, "I know the situation you're going through, and Izola's departure from the organization made me think about leaving as well. All of my work was with your sister, Dazai. I was her right-hand man. But now there is no point in me staying here. And forgive me for saying this, but if I stay with you, I will lose more than I gain because, as it seems, you are going through difficult times, just like the last time I left you. However, these assets will help you greatly, especially since they are the last service I can provide you. I also apologize for this sudden decision."

Dazai could do nothing.

"As you wish. Thank you for working with us. You may leave."

Klein, also known by his name Clinton, left the place.

Dazai sat at his desk and placed his hands over his eyes.

Rayn said, "Yes. You're not okay, Dazai. I know you better than anyone when you hide your problems."

Dazai said, "You've missed a lot, really. But it's good that you're back. I can no longer bear everyone distancing themselves from me. I've started to feel like I've become incapable, and everyone is running away from me."

Rayn said, "Don't say that."

Dazai said, "Elzabel—the Purple Eye—died a year ago because of a disease that affects her people. Leo—the Yellow Eye—disappeared after his reward was taken away from him. He asked me to withdraw and decided to live a normal life outside the Zero World. Arthur—the Blue Eye—is trying to hold on, but it seems he is afraid to tell me that he can no longer stay. He is still carrying out his missions despite how difficult our circumstances are. I have fallen, Rayn. Everyone abandoned me, and I was left alone."

Rayn said, "Don't say that. Everyone trusts you, believe me. You just need to stand up so that they can stand up with you. I learned what happened from Izola, about the war and everything that happened."

Dazai was surprised.

"You met my sister? Where?"

Rayn said, "Arios rescued us from the place where we were trapped and took us to his residence. We stayed there before coming here. It also seemed that the two of them were living a happy married life because things there appeared to be good. They also had a beautiful child who resembles both of them."

Dazai was shocked by what he heard.

"They had a child?"

Rayn said, "Yes."

"Where do they live?"

Rayn said, "Believe me, I don't know. We moved immediately afterward, and I didn't learn the name of the planet. But from what I saw, it was an incredibly beautiful planet. Greenery was everywhere. There were trees and rivers flowing down from enormous grassy mountains. That place was like a beautiful paradise."

Dazai said, "I don't know where such a place could be in the Zero World. Is it one of the planets in another world?"

Then he asked, "How did Izola look? Was she happy or sad? Did she seem distressed?"

Rayn said, "No. She was truly happy. Her face was glowing, and she didn't seem sad or troubled by anything. Why? Did something happen? And what was the story behind the argument between you and Arios? Were all these problems really because the two of you didn't trust each other?"

Dazai said, "He was the one who lost my trust through his actions, not me. I was only trying to protect him, but he became arrogant, disobeyed my orders, and caused harm to my world. His pursuit of revenge caused me enormous losses, and that's why he ran away like a coward."

Rayn said, "Come on, man. You two have been friends for a long time. You spent most of your time together and went through so many events. Why are you suddenly denying all of that?"

Dazai said, "Because he is reckless, and he stole my sister from me as punishment for what I did on Arios's planet."

After the movie ended, Izola had fallen asleep in Arios's arms, and Isaac was also asleep in his father's arms.

Arios said, "They both seem extremely tired. No problem."

He carried them both to their room, placed them on the bed, and said, "How much I love seeing this scene every day."

He then left the room without making a sound and headed downstairs.

"I'll head to the chamber now. There are some things that make me curious."

Arios entered the chamber.

"Over the past two years, I've realized some important things. The chamber, despite its power, does not provide me with future information or information about people's intentions or thoughts. The only things I can obtain are events that have actually happened, visible information, and information collected after deeper investigation."

"After studying it extensively, I realized that the chamber writes everything by itself. No one interferes with its actions at all. Every time I leave and return, I find newer information."

"I tried many times to search for what was happening in Nahira's palace or what the elders were thinking, but I gained nothing. It became clear to me that the chamber cannot see beyond the authority of the King of Everything or his servants. However, the actions of everyone else can be easily discovered as long as they are not considered beings above the chamber."

"By this point, I had learned that Arlen had died two years ago and that the killer was Raymus. I also learned many other things, including that Clarisse had become the ruler of the First World and was doing a good job there."

"I also learned that Dazai's situation had become extremely bad. And I discovered something particularly interesting: there are forbidden records within the chamber concerning extremely ancient matters."

"The chamber contains two floors. The visible floor is this one, and it contains information about everything that has happened in the worlds and every piece of information related to them. But the lower section is forbidden, and it caught my attention because of the incredible things contained there."

"There is absolutely no information on the upper floor about what exists below. And the things down there are far more detailed and much clearer."

"I have gotten close to reaching it. Every time I descend, I hesitate and immediately leave, as if I don't actually want to know anything at that moment. But now, I seem ready for it. I've prepared myself mentally and psychologically for anything."

Arios descended to the lower level and opened the entrance, whose door was a green ruby portal.

He entered.

The chamber was filled with countless scrolls and books. It was not wide, but it extended upward, while the room itself was small with a very high ceiling. It descended downward in circular levels.

Arios went down and found a couch and a fireplace, making the place resemble some kind of wizard's study.

Arios sat down with one of the scrolls in his hand. Written on it were the words:

"Guide to the Worlds."

Arios opened the scroll. It began to float, and another entity appeared to explain its contents. It resembled the first entity, but it was golden in color and had absolutely no facial features.

In the First World, Clarisse had finished her work in the palace and headed toward the throne room.

After a while, one of her servants entered while running at full speed.

"My lady! My lady! There is something shocking that will surprise you!"

"What is it?"

The servant looked at her, sweat pouring from his face.

"There is a guest who has come to see you, my lady."

Clarisse said, "And who would come to see me at this hour?"

The servant said, "It is Lord Arios."

Clarisse's eyes widened.

"Where is he?"

"I'll let him enter."

"Do it quickly!"

She shouted at him to do it immediately.

A moment later, Arios entered the hall.

Clarisse was sitting on the throne, thinking to herself:

"He definitely came after learning that I'm better than that whore, and he decided to become mine alone."

Arios approached confidently, greeted her, and said, "How are you, Miss Clarisse?"

Clarisse's expression changed into a frown.

The servant looked at her and began to fear what he was seeing, causing Clarisse to quickly change her expression to one of coldness.

"Oh. So it's you."

Arios smiled.

"Yes. Did you think I was someone else? I'm sorry if I disappointed you, my lady. But yes, it's really me. I'm not the Arios you know. I'm the person who was with you in the Zero World. Do you remember that? Two years have passed since then."

Clarisse said, "And what do you want by coming here? And I have a question. Why do you have Arios's appearance and pretend to be my lover, Arios?"

Arios said, "In reality, I'm not Arios in the way you know him. My name is Ernas Mira, and I'm merely someone who cares about the interests of this world above everything else."

Clarisse said, "I saw your good deeds, but I also saw your hatred toward my beloved, and I don't like that. I punish people for such things."

Ernas laughed.

"I apologize for what happened. I was simply angry at the people who died unjustly because of tyranny. But I swear to you, I don't hate anyone without a reason. You don't know anything. However, I'm not here to talk about Arios or anyone else. I'm here for an entirely different reason."

Clarisse said, "Then what brought you here?"

Ernas said, "In reality, I came to warn you about an upcoming disaster. There is a bomb that will soon fall upon this world. That bomb is essentially a sample of something called Absolute Nothingness."

Clarisse said, "Absolute Nothingness?"

"Yes. Someone whose details I cannot reveal obtained a sample of it. He took a particle of the nothingness that erases everything and turned it into a bomb."

"That bomb, if it collides with any world, will erase it from existence completely. The worst part is that once something is erased, it will not move to another world, nor will it go to heaven or hell. It will simply be erased completely, because Absolute Nothingness is not a thing. It is beyond the very concepts of something and nothing."

"It surrounds everything. That is why I came to warn you."

Clarisse said, "And what will you gain from warning us? And why will this happen?"

Ernas said, "That person simply wants to test it. He doesn't care about this world and sees it as something worthless. That is why he will test the bomb on this world."

"I'm sorry. If I had enough power, I would stop him, but I'm merely a powerless person. I don't want the people here to disappear, so please help me stop all of this."

Clarisse said, "And how do we stop something like that?"

Ernas said, "By finding Arios."

Clarisse said, "Why Arios?"

Ernas said, "I need to meet him personally. In the past, my power was exhausted and I disappeared from this world, but I managed to return. However, I only have a limited amount of time to warn you. Please, Miss Clarisse, find Arios before it is too late."

Clarisse said, "I'll try."

Ernas then collapsed onto the floor.

Clarisse rushed toward him.

"Are you okay?"

He said, "I don't have enough energy. I'll only be able to remain here for three days. The bomb is already on its way, and if it enters this world, it will erase all the worlds and everything within them. Nothing will remain except our memories of them. Please, find him immediately."

Clarisse was horrified.

"Okay. I'll find him."

Then she said, "Stay here."

He replied, "No. I'll come with you. I need to meet him myself."

She said, "As you wish. I'll try to find him with my sister's help."

Meanwhile, Arios was reading the scroll, and the entity began explaining.

"The ten worlds are spheres containing countless universes. All of these universes together form a single world known as a multiverse."

Arios said, "I understand. That explains why all the worlds appear as transparent spheres when traveling between them."

The entity continued:

"Each world is separate from the others in terms of existential classification. For example, if the Fifth World contains a certain day or year, the opposite may be true in another world, such as the Seventh or Ninth World. However, they all exist within the unified calendar established by the King of Everything."

"These worlds, along with their universes, are merely one layer known as the 3D and 4D dimensions. They form spacetime, which consists of space and time within these worlds."

Arios said, "I understand now. I once read about this in a book on Earth."

The entity continued explaining.

"This visible spacetime contains numerous universes. However, each of the ten worlds, as well as World Zero, contains deeper dimensions."

"Each world is not limited to universes and spacetime. Every universe within these worlds possesses dimensions of its own."

"For example, if we take a universe from the Sixth World and delve deeper into it, that universe possesses the familiar 3D and 4D dimensions. It also contains 5D, which consists of infinitely many parallel possibilities for that universe."

"Thus, there are infinitely many versions of this universe, each similar to it, existing within the same structure."

"And just as this universe has those possibilities, it also has 'What If?' scenarios."

"So, because 5D represents the 'What If?' dimension—the possibilities of things that could have happened but did not happen in this universe—the 6D dimensions of this universe represent 'What If?' events resulting from a particular event occurring within it. These possibilities are also infinite."

"The same principle applies to the world as a whole and is not limited to a specific universe."

"The number of universes within the ten worlds is one quadrillion universes. Some are destroyed while others are created again, but all of them possess the dimensions we discussed earlier, and all of them continue being created infinitely."

"Each of them has a single source of creation, its beginning, which we call the 7D dimension."

"All those possibilities and universes have a source from which they originate. This source repeats itself every moment infinitely, and all those possibilities move along a single line emanating from it."

"This emanation also has infinitely many copies."

"Imagine that tube, with all the infinite possibilities of 5D and 6D emerging from it. That is 7D. This structure itself has infinitely many copies, which is what we call 8D."

"Then there is 9D, which consists of infinite networks, each containing those infinite tubes arranged as infinite layers extending upward and downward."

"All these complex structures are contained within a single container. In other words, all the infinite 9D networks exist inside one container that holds all those dimensions."

"And all of this eventually leads to 11D, which consists of infinitely expanding, interconnected containers with complex geometric structures that cannot be understood or perceived by the human mind, except by beings existing beyond this entire system."

Arios said, "Amazing. All of this exists within the ten worlds, and we cannot even see it?"

The entity replied, "It is a natural part of the laws of existence."

Arios said, "So those things are constantly occurring within reality. But now I understand that a world is something we can never fully understand or describe, no matter how long we live within it."

Arios closed the scroll.

"Wow. This is exhausting. I feel overwhelmed by how complicated it is."

He then pulled out another scroll labeled:

"Destruction Power."

He opened it, and the same entity appeared and began explaining.

"The Destruction Power was created by the Lord of War, Azlol."

Arios laughed.

"His name is strange."

The entity continued:

"The Lord of War, Azlol, sold his soul to a being from Hell in exchange for a portion of its power. The being granted him the Destruction Power, which he used to conquer the worlds and wage war against many of the rulers of the worlds."

"More than thirty rulers were eliminated because of him and his immense power."

"A group of righteous rulers eventually managed to extract that power from him and divide it among themselves. The King of Everything then implanted portions of that power into his servants so that they could guard it and ensure the safety of his worlds from the threat posed by that power."

"Its nature is dark. It changes the personality of its wielder, making them more aggressive and increasing their desire for destruction."

"Its origin is Hell. Its nature is offensive and destructive, causing spiritual destruction before physical destruction."

"If it is taken from its owner, it will destroy their soul unless their willpower is stronger than the power itself."

Arios said, "Good information."

He closed the scroll.

"I've been here for a long time. I should leave now. My legs are starting to go numb from sitting so long."

Arios left the chamber and returned home.

He found that his wife and child were asleep.

He looked at the clock and was shocked.

"It's very late. Wait a moment. Isn't time supposed to freeze or slow down while I'm inside the chamber? What happened?"

Suddenly, Arios said:

"The problem with the chamber is that only one person can enter it at a time. Sometimes I feel like I miss people when I enter because of the amount of loneliness I experience inside. I can't even summon my soldiers while I'm in there."

"Anyway, no problem. I'll go and meet that financial expert or whatever he is, negotiate with him, and see what he wants."

Arios then disappeared from the planet, leaving behind countless questions about what would happen in the future.
