Chapter 135 - Arius the cunning manipulator

Hours after that event, Arios went to an unexpected place: the First World, specifically to Clarisse's palace. She was asleep at the time when she suddenly heard knocking on the window. She woke up and said, "What is this noise? Who is knocking on my window at this late hour?"

She walked toward the window and opened it, but she found nothing, so she closed it and said, "It must be the wind. It's extremely strong tonight."

After that, she returned to her bed. Suddenly, Arios covered her eyes and grabbed her from behind. Clarisse immediately felt a strange sensation and said, "Who are you?"

He did not say a single word. Then he brought his face closer to hers and said in a different, distorted voice, "Have you really forgotten who I am?"

Suddenly, Clarisse began to realize who was holding her. She shouted, "Arios! Is that you?"

Arios removed his hand from her eyes, but he did not let her go. He said, "That's wonderful. You can still recognize me, even if it took you some effort."

Clarisse said, "Arios, where have you been all this time? Why haven't you come to me for so long? I've been trying to find you for ages."

Arios thought to himself, "That's right. I erased her memories of what happened that day when she saw me with Nahira and disappeared from her life for a long time. She also still doesn't know that I married Izola, which is why she hasn't reacted badly toward me."

Arios said, "The truth is, I was extremely busy training my army, and I didn't have any time."

Clarisse said, "I'm really angry because you've been ignoring me, darling. Have you forgotten that we're engaged?"

Arios laughed and said, "I could never forget. In fact, I think you saw what happened and what I said today."

Clarisse said, "Yes. You said that you were going to kill my sister."

Arios said, "Yes. Are you going to object to that?"

Clarisse looked at him and said, "No. She deserves even worse than that."

After sitting with her on the bed, Arios held her face and said, "I have a request."

Clarisse said, "Darling, ask for whatever you want. I could never refuse you, and you know that."

Arios said, "Are you sure about that?"

She replied, "Yes."

He said, "I want you to kill Nahira with me. And if I fail to kill her, then you kill her for me. Can you do that?"

Clarisse was shocked by the request. She remained silent for a while before saying, "I should kill her? That sounds difficult. She is my sister, and despite how much I hate her, I don't think I can kill her."

Arios said, "I see. I expected that. I suppose you don't have enough courage for it. I'm sorry for bothering you, Miss Clarisse. Goodbye."

Arios stood up and intended to leave through the window. However, Clarisse grabbed him from behind and said, "Wait! What do you mean, goodbye?"

Arios said, "If I kill your sister, I will become your enemy, and you will try to kill me. I don't want to hurt you, so it would be better for us to stay away from each other."

Clarisse said, "No. I will never consider you my enemy, no matter what happens. Why would you think that?"

Arios said, "The truth is, I wanted to give you something in return for helping me, but it's obvious that you prefer your sister."

Clarisse asked, "What is it?"

Arios said, "Actually, if you had helped me kill your sister once and for all, I would have officially married you, without hesitation."

Clarisse's eyes widened completely, and she began to feel intense heat throughout her body. She started stammering, "M-m-marry me?"

Arios said, "Yes. I wanted to do that. The only thing preventing it was your sister. She had opposed our relationship for a long time. I kept trying to hold on to our relationship, but she kept rejecting it. She saw me as nothing more than a dog who had no right to become her brother-in-law."

Clarisse became angry with her sister.

Arios continued, "All I ever wanted was for us to be together, but because of her, our marriage never happened that day. If it weren't for that, we would have been married for three years already, just as I promised you before. But because of Nahira and those criminals, I couldn't do it. And so that I wouldn't expose you to any danger, I didn't marry you until I had taken revenge and eliminated my enemies, so that no one would ever come near you. Do you understand now why I stayed away from you?"

Clarisse said emotionally, "Oh, darling… I had no idea you were sacrificing so much for me."

She then embraced him while crying.

Arios smiled slyly and thought to himself, "The plan worked. I've completely secured this fool on my side."

He then raised his arms and hugged her tightly. After that, he held her face and said, "You are very beautiful, just as I always thought."

He then kissed her, leaving her stunned by the intensity of the moment. Clarisse completely succumbed to the false love Arios had made her believe in.

He pulled her toward him and threw her onto the bed, saying, "Tonight, I will reward you for making me amazed by your beauty."

Clarisse felt overwhelmed with excitement, believing this was absolute proof that Arios loved her. She pulled him toward her eagerly, and they spent the entire cold night together.

The following morning, after their long night had ended, Clarisse was sleeping against Arios's chest. Arios was passionately complimenting her while she said in an exhausted voice, "You were very strong, darling. I could barely feel any relief. Let's do it every day."

Arios laughed and said, "If you're an obedient girl, then I promise you we'll do it whenever we want."

Clarisse laughed and said, "That's exactly what I want. I want you to be mine alone."

Arios said, "Soon, my dear. When we get rid of our source of annoyance, we'll hold our wedding ceremony at her funeral, so that we can have two celebrations in one."

Clarisse hugged Arios tightly and said, "I'm really looking forward to that."

Afterward, Arios got up, put on his clothes, and said to Clarisse, who was still lying down, "Be ready. Whenever I start the chaos, I'll call you. But we won't face her together. I'll face her alone, and if anything happens to me, you deliver the final blow."

Clarisse said, "Don't worry, darling. I'll do exactly what you command me to do, without hesitation."

Arios smiled and said, "Good. I'll be counting on you."

Arios then left through the window and flew away.

Raynos asked him, "Are you sure she'll be with us, my lord?"

Arios said, "Absolutely. Clarisse proved herself to be quite remarkable that day. She'll be more useful to me alive than if I got rid of her. She has a special talent. I don't know how I overlooked that fool. She possesses tremendous power, and I'll make great use of it."

Raynos said, "As you command, my lord."

Arios flew away from the planet directly toward the Sixth World.

In the Sixth World, several soldiers belonging to Nahira were standing and speaking with Raymos about the meeting that their lady was going to hold. Raymos prepared to leave, but suddenly he felt an enormous energy approaching them.

The soldiers felt it as well. Raymos ordered Lina to go inside, and she immediately did so.

While they were watching, a shadow suddenly descended from the sky and landed. As soon as it arrived, the soldiers prepared themselves for the approaching enemy.

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, one of them was stabbed in the chest and collapsed unconscious onto the ground. After the mist disappeared, Arios appeared with sharp features.

The second soldier said, "You… Mira Arios! How dare you show up here?"

As he said that, his head suddenly fell to the ground without Arios even moving or doing anything.

Raymos was shocked and thought to himself, "I didn't even sense his speed. Damn."

Arios smiled and said to Raymos, "Aren't you going to say hello?"

Raymos said, "Ah… hello. Come in and tell me what that nonsense you said yesterday was about."

Arios said, "Nonsense? What are you talking about? I'm going to do it now."

Raymos said, "Haven't you caused enough trouble already?"

After they went inside, they sat at a dining table and ate together.

Lina said, "Brother, why haven't you visited us much?"

Arios said, "I've been busy."

She laughed and said, "You're always busy."

Arios said, "You're right."

Yukari, who was now four years old, was sitting there staring at Arios with curiosity.

Lina said, "What's wrong, my daughter? This isn't the first time you've seen your uncle Arios, sweetheart."

Yukari said, "Mom, this person isn't the same one who was here before. That one was evil, but this one is much worse."

Lina was surprised by what she heard.

Arios smiled and said, "It seems she likes making jokes, just like my little son Izak. He says things like that sometimes."

Everyone laughed.

Raymos, who had not joined them in laughing, said, "You know, Arios, you're a ticking time bomb. Do you realize what you're about to do?"

Arios said, "Yes. I understand perfectly. I'm about to free the worlds from oppression."

Raymos said angrily, "Since when have you cared about oppression and such things, man? We only get to live once. We want to live without problems."

Arios said, "You'll have that after I eliminate Nahira."

Raymos asked, "Are you really capable of defeating her?"

Arios said, "Yes. Easily. I have a secret weapon for that."

Raymos said, "Please, keep your problems away from my family."

Arios said, "Don't worry. I guarantee that no one here will ever harm your family or even approach them. But all I ask of you is that you never participate in that battle. I saw in the Treasury of Knowledge that the other rulers will come and ask you to transform with them into Azlol, the Lord of War, to fight me. I want you to refuse. I don't want you to ruin my plan. I need all my energy available to kill Nahira."

Raymos said, "I don't care. That whole thing is troublesome anyway. I wouldn't have done it back then if I hadn't wanted greater power."

Lina asked, "Why do you want to eliminate that ruler? I mean, she caused you problems in the past, but not to the point where you would say all of this."

Arios said to her, "That specimen is worse than you think, sister. She's a monster wearing a human form. She tortured me terribly in the past and humiliated me countless times. Now I have the opportunity to eliminate her and accomplish what I've been pursuing for many years. I will achieve my goal, no matter the cost."

Some time later, Arios left the place.

Yukari said coldly, "The monster has left, Mom."

Lina became angry with her daughter and slapped her for saying that.

Raymos said, "The child is right. Arios is no longer the foolish and carefree person we used to know. He's a devil in human form. It seems he has finally revealed the truth about himself that we never knew. These are not the actions of a human being. They are the actions of someone who was born and raised in darkness."

Lina said, "Don't say that. Arios is just someone who wants what's best for us."

Raymos said, "I don't know what his intentions are, but I hope he never thinks about hurting my family. If he does, I'll kill him with my own hands."

Meanwhile, Arios stood in space and smiled slyly.

"The time has come, my little ones. It's your turn now."

He opened his palm, and waves of soldiers began emerging from his hand, flying out like swarms of bees leaving their hive.

He shouted, "Spread throughout all the worlds! Make sure everyone submits to our will, and kill anyone who opposes you! Hahahaha!"

Arios then flew toward Nahira's world and brought out his five commanders.

Suddenly, all the Destruction Rulers appeared before him.

Arios said, "Move aside or die."

The rulers looked at him.

"Mira Arios, we will not support your rebellion. We know that we are not as powerful as you, but dying while we still possess our dignity is better than surrendering to people like you."

Arios laughed and said, "Then die."

He ordered Ilria to advance.

She revealed her sharp, transparent wings and looked at them with a dark expression filled with disgust. She launched her attacks.

They began avoiding her attacks, but she managed to stab one of them and began vaporizing him.

The others were shocked by what they witnessed.

Arios and the others continued onward while Ilria remained behind to confront the rulers.

She said, "You worms! Today I will put an end to you. You are completely useless."

The Ruler of the Second World said, "You monster! We are rulers who have lived for millions of years. We will not fall today at the hands of some scum who only appeared yesterday."

Suddenly, the ruler felt something strange and realized that his heart was in Ilria's hand.

She began squeezing it tightly.

He felt tremendous pain.

She said with complete coldness, "We were created to erase your history and write our own. Soon, you will become nothing more than memories that we will look back on and mock."

She then crushed his heart, killing him on the spot.

The remaining rulers began attacking her. She dodged their attacks and struck them as if they were nothing more than beginners.

Meanwhile, Arios reached the world and landed directly in front of the palace.

He ordered his soldiers to deal with the annoying army, whose numbers reached the trillions.

Arios said, "They have gathered their entire army in one place. Deal with them."

Zaikors said, "As you command, my lord, although I alone am enough for this."

Arios said, "All of you go. I want to kill that harlot myself."

The commanders flew away, and with a single swing of Raynos's sword, billions of them were killed.

Dark said, "Each one of those is hundreds of times stronger than the rulers Ilria is fighting."

Gillion laughed and said, "What? Are you afraid?"

Dark said, "No. But don't you see that something is strange? Their numbers are enormous, and they're lined up far away. Why didn't they attack us the moment we arrived at the palace gates? Also, wasn't the Ruler of Everything capable of creating an endless number of soldiers with different power levels?"

Zaikors said, "You're right. Something is strange here. It seems they're using a numerical illusion strategy. They show us a limited number, and whenever we exhaust our attacks, the real reinforcements appear. But where are they?"

Raynos said, "They're beneath us, above us, and beside us."

Raynos grabbed the air, revealing a soldier hidden within it. He pulled him out and said, "They're in the immaterial dimension. Those bastards!"

Gillion said, "How many of them are there? They never end!"

Dark said, "Let's destroy them."

They charged forward and began eliminating everyone who stood in their path.

Their attacks collided, and every soldier that appeared was immediately struck down.

Inside the palace, Arios walked through the cosmic corridor while thinking about his daughter.

"Should I kill that girl along with her mother? In the end, she was an unintentional mistake."

After walking for some time, Arios said, "Why isn't anyone attacking me? I don't sense any energy here except for one source."

Arios eventually reached the palace hall.

He took a deep breath and opened the doors.

He stepped forward and saw Nahira sitting calmly on her throne, sipping tea as if nothing had happened.

Arios said, "I see that the end will be here."

Nahira looked at him and said, "Arios, did you come to have some tea with me?"

He said with disgust, "What do you take me for? Are you trying to mock me?"

She looked at him in surprise and said, "What's wrong with you? We promised each other that we would live a beautiful life together. Have you forgotten what you said?"

Arios said, "I was never the one who wanted that. Besides, I was using you. In the end, each of us got what we wanted. I obtained certain things, while you wanted us to have that relationship so you could use me. We're no different from each other."

Nahira smiled and said, "You're right. I'm no different from you. We were both fools for believing in each other. I thought it might have been a chance for our relationship to improve, but sadly, you disappointed me. No… you made me proud of you, darling. After all, you are ultimately my creation. I carried you in my arms and raised you into what you are today. You are a copy of me, Arios. You have to admit it."

Arios laughed and said, "A copy of you? Stop this nonsense. I resemble no one. I am the thing that cannot be imitated. I am the end of all your shallow beliefs. You are merely a shadow of my thoughts and actions."

Nahira laughed and said, "You're cute, darling. But don't forget that I'm the only one who can subdue the dog, Mira Arios."

Suddenly, Nahira appeared in front of Arios and attempted to punch him, but he blocked her attack at the perfect moment.

She said, "Oh… you're very fast. In the past, I used to break your bones while you crawled at my feet begging me for mercy."

Arios said, "The past is gone. The present is now. We cannot keep looking at details that have already faded away."

Arios then kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying away and smashing through the wall of the hall.

Nahira landed in a room filled with enormous chess pieces.

She stood up and said, "Interesting. Your attack actually tickled me."

Arios said, "I'll give you many more. Believe me. Just tell me where you want me to hit you, and I'll crush you until you understand what it means to be arrogant in front of Arios."

Nahira laughed and suddenly began lifting the pieces with her energy and throwing them at him.

He destroyed them with a simple movement of his hand and said, "Stop playing like a child."

He flew toward her and punched her in the face, then kicked her.

She staggered backward, blood dripping from her.

She said, "Damn, he really is fast. Did his power increase compared to when he fought Karma?"

Suddenly, Arios disappeared and reappeared behind her, kicking her again and sending her flying through the palace into a water-filled room.

Nahira's blood spread through the water.

She stood up with difficulty, laughing.

"Darling Arios, why are you hitting me this hard? I'm very angry with you."

Suddenly, Nahira's energy began appearing in a purple color.

After she stood up, Arios sensed it.

She suddenly appeared in front of him and drove a punch into his stomach. She severed his arm and threw him away.

Arios fell, but he did not hit the ground.

He said, "Damn… she's fast."

Nahira picked up Arios's severed hand and said, "What a beautiful hand."

She placed it against her cheek and said, "I remember when you used to play with my face on the bed, you little troublemaker."

She then licked the blood flowing from the hand.

"Your blood is delicious, just as I expected. With the drink, I'm going to enjoy it even more."

Arios was shocked when a claw suddenly appeared in front of his face and plunged into his other arm, severing his other hand.

He kicked her away.

Suddenly, new hands appeared in their place.

Arios said, "I always forget that you're a Celestin. Still, that's good. It means I'll have even more fun cutting you apart. And you know what? I might even plan to keep you as a doll that I can cut apart whenever I get bored, just to entertain myself. How do you like that idea?"

Suddenly, she was struck by a punch to the face that sent her flying far away and destroyed the room.

Arios said angrily, "I'm going to kill you."

His energy suddenly began rising until it transformed.

He transformed into the High Sphere with a power level equivalent to 6 decillion.

He then launched a small energy blast that exploded across the entire palace.

Those outside felt the impact, but they continued fighting.

Nahira emerged from the rubble, with both of her legs having been blown apart.

Suddenly, they regenerated.

Arios was shocked.

"How can she do that?"

Nahira smiled and said, "The truth is, when I drank your blood, I obtained all the capabilities of your body. That includes regeneration. Celestins are known for their ability to regenerate their limbs, as well as their endless lifespan. But the problem with your kind is that you still die if someone actually kills you."

Arios was shocked by what he heard.

Nahira stood up and said with a smile, "I think it's time I show you my full power. From what I can see, you've surpassed several levels just to finish me."

Suddenly, Nahira screamed.

Her energy began rising, her eyes turned red, and strange tentacles began appearing around her.

Arios said, "What is this?"

After Nahira completed her transformation, she said, "What's wrong? Haven't you seen my true form before? Ah, I forgot. You were never strong enough to reach that level in the first place."

Arios was stunned.

Her power level had reached an unimaginable 4.8 Undecillion.

A terrifying level of power beyond comprehension.

Suddenly, Arios's soldiers began collapsing, as did Nahira's soldiers, overwhelmed by the sheer pressure of her power.

Everyone fell.

Even Arios himself dropped to his knees under the immense pressure.

Raymos, in the Sixth World, felt that power and collapsed to the ground, barely able to breathe.

"What is happening?"

Yukari began crying.

Lina completely lost consciousness.

Wang said, "Some kind of power must have awakened."

Suddenly, Raymos and Wang lost consciousness.

All of Arios's soldiers who had spread throughout the worlds began disappearing.

On Arios's planet, Izola lost consciousness.

Izak tried to wake her while crying, but suddenly he also lost consciousness.

Mythos sensed what was happening and rushed home.

"Lady Izola, are you alright?"

Suddenly, he lost consciousness as well.

Even in the Zero World, everyone began losing consciousness.

Arios, who was struggling to move, said, "What happened?"

Nahira said, "Nothing, darling. No one in existence could withstand me revealing my power. I assure you that every creature in existence has either lost consciousness or died as a result of me revealing my power."

Arios thought to himself, "I knew she was powerful, but not to the point where I can't even lift my leg. I feel an unbearable weight. So this is Nahira's true power. It resembles Clarisse's power from that time. This must be the true form of their species. Clarisse's appearance completely changed in the same way that day, although she didn't take this exact form."

Nahira said, "Darling, do you know that you are special to me? You are the only being in existence who is still conscious in front of me and can see me in my true form. I hid this appearance from everyone throughout my entire life. My father wanted to turn me into a weapon solely because of this form. But today, I'm going to use it to take revenge on the boy I thought I truly loved, only for him to betray me."

Arios said, "Damn. The more I move, the more I feel like I'm going to vomit and lose consciousness."

Nahira slowly walked toward Arios.

When she reached him, she grabbed his chin and brought her face closer to his.

"Do you see this face? It appeared because of you. Do you want to test its effectiveness?"

Nahira then kissed Arios.

Arios felt disgusted and tried to move away, but he was unable to move.

His transformation began disappearing.

Arios said, "Damn her. She's draining my energy."

His transformation completely vanished, returning him to his normal state.

Nahira continued kissing him and said, "That was the most beautiful kiss. I did it, darling. You know, your energy suits me perfectly. It's extremely delicious."

Arios began collapsing where he stood and was close to losing consciousness.

He then decided to transform into Lorya.

A massive surge erupted from the area, pushing everything around it away.

Nahira moved backward and said, "What the hell? Why can't I sense his energy anymore?"

Larios's system displayed a power level of 30 Undecillion.

It also displayed a boost in his normal state, increasing his power from 3 Octillion to 9 Octillion.

His transformed power therefore reached 90 Undecillion.

Nahira could no longer sense his energy, but she could feel the enormous pressure emanating from him.

Arios stood there with silver hair, cold eyes, and a glowing white aura, completely motionless.

He looked at her and said, "The difference is enormous."

He took one step and suddenly appeared in front of her, striking her with a punch that sent her flying through space for hundreds of light-years.

She stopped near the edge of her sacred world.

She felt the force of the punch and said, "Damn! What the hell was that? That punch wasn't ordinary. It struck a monster."

She began breathing heavily.

"I must not hold back. I'll use 100% of my power."

Before she could finish, she was shocked when Arios appeared beside her and attempted to strike her.

She barely managed to block his attack, but the force of the impact distorted space and sent her flying backward.

Arios looked at her and said, "This is the end. Accept the truth that I am stronger than you."

Nahira laughed and said, "I-I admit that you're strong, and you truly surprised me. But that doesn't mean I've lost."

Nahira stood up with difficulty and said, "Why do you think everyone lost consciousness?"

Arios said, "What's the reason?"

Nahira said, "Because I'm absorbing their energy, you idiot."

Arios was shocked by what he heard.

He immediately used the Eye of Aroza to see enormous amounts of energy flowing toward Nahira, originating from the creatures throughout existence.

Nahira said after recovering, "This is incredible. My power has increased a hundredfold compared to what it was."

Her energy began twisting violently.

"I can't believe it. This is an enormous amount of power. I don't need the power of that entity anymore. My own power is enough."

Larios's system displayed that her current power had surpassed his by an enormous margin.

Her power reached approximately 480 Undecillion.

Arios was stunned and felt that this was the end for him.

Nahira smiled and said, "This is only the beginning."

She then exhaled, and space around her began collapsing and turning into ash.

Nahira walked through the air with absolute arrogance.

"I am invincible. I no longer care about this existence at all. I am everything."

Arios was shocked by her excessive confidence.

He was even more shocked when a hand suddenly appeared behind him and pierced through his stomach.

He looked at the hand in front of him as Nahira said, "I didn't want to do this, but you forced me to. You dare to challenge people who are above you, but that isn't what matters to me. What matters is what I'm going to tell our poor daughter when I tell her that her father wanted to kill her mother for one foolish reason: revenge against her because she rejected him for more than 16 years before he returned to continue acting foolishly toward her.

"Tell me, darling, what am I supposed to say to her?"

Arios grabbed Nahira's hand that was piercing through him and tried to destroy it, but she was far beyond his ability to do so.

Suddenly, he released her hand.

Nahira thought she had killed him and smiled.

Arios then said in a cold, emotionless voice:

"Kill me now."
