Chapter 5 - The Rise of Light and the Final Battle

The sky open like a wound, and from the darkness beyond it, a massive claw slowly emerged. The ground trembled violently, and the air itself seemed to freeze. Aarav stood frozen, staring upward as a new kind of fear gripped him—this presence was far more dangerous than the Shadow Beast.

Rohan stepped back, his voice shaking. "Aarav… tell me this is still training…"

Zibu whispered, "No… this is real."

Rishan's face had turned completely serious. "This is a Dark General… a servant of the Shadow Beast. If it has come here, then the balance is already breaking."

With a thunderous roar, the creature fully stepped out of the cracked sky. It was enormous, covered in black armor-like skin, with glowing red veins running across its body. Its eyes burned brighter than fire, and its presence alone made it hard to breathe.

Without warning, it attacked.

A massive wave of dark energy crashed toward them. Rishan raised his hand instantly, forming a barrier of light that barely held the attack back. The force pushed everyone backward.

"Aarav!" Rishan shouted. "This is no longer training. This is war. You must use your full power!"

Aarav's heart pounded. He could feel the energy inside him reacting again—but this time it was unstable, stronger, harder to control.

"I don't know how!" he shouted.

Rohan ran beside him. "Then don't think! Just fight! I'm with you!"

Zibu flew in front. "We all are!"

The Dark General roared and charged again. This time, Aarav didn't wait. He stepped forward, raising his hand as golden light burst around him. The energy spread across the ground like fire, pushing back the darkness.

But the enemy was too strong.

It broke through the light and struck Aarav, sending him crashing to the ground. Pain shot through his body. The light around him flickered.

For a moment, everything felt lost.

The Dark General raised its claw for a final strike.

"AARAV!!!" Rohan screamed.

Time seemed to slow down.

Lying on the ground, Aarav looked up at the sky. Fear, doubt, and pain filled his mind—but then something else rose within him. Memories of his village, his simple life, his friendship with Rohan… and the trust Zibu and Rishan had placed in him.

Slowly, he clenched his fist.

"I'm not… giving up."

A deep, powerful light exploded from his body—far stronger than before. The ground cracked, the sky shook, and the golden energy rose like a storm around him.

Zibu gasped. "This… this is the true Light Core!"

Aarav stood up, his eyes glowing brighter than ever.

This time, he was not afraid.

The Dark General attacked again, but Aarav moved faster. He dodged, struck back, and for the first time, his power felt controlled—like it was truly his.

Rohan even joined in, throwing stones and distracting the creature. "Hey ugly! Fight someone your own size!"

Zibu used his speed to confuse the enemy, flying around it and blinding it with flashes of light.

Together, they fought.

Not just as individuals…

But as a team.

Finally, Aarav gathered all his energy into one point. The light around him became blinding.

"This ends now!" he shouted.

With a powerful motion, he released a massive beam of golden energy that struck the Dark General directly. The creature roared as the light consumed it, breaking its dark form apart.

With one final explosion, it vanished.

Silence.

The sky slowly returned to normal. The crack closed. The darkness faded.

Aarav fell to his knees, exhausted but alive.

Rohan ran to him, laughing and half-crying at the same time. "BRO! WE WON! We actually won!"

Zibu smiled proudly. "You did it."

Rishan walked forward, his eyes calm again. "No… this is only the beginning."

Aarav looked up, confused. "What do you mean?"

Rishan looked toward the horizon. "The Shadow Beast is still alive. And now… it knows your true power. This battle was just a message."

Aarav stood slowly, his expression no longer confused or afraid.

It was determined.

"Then next time," he said, "I'll be ready."

The wind moved gently through Aranyor once again, but everything had changed.

Aarav was no longer just a boy from a small village.

He was the protector of a hidden world.

And his story…

Had only just begun.
