Chapter 1 - Prologue: A Kingdom Born from Ashes

A haunting melody echoed through the void.

Ah… Ah… Ah…

It was neither sorrow nor joy—something in between. Something ancient.

Long before the kingdom of Taytozena came to be, the land was nothing but ruin.

A wasteland.

Chaos ruled where order had long since died. The strong preyed on the weak without consequence. Streets once meant for trade and laughter were soaked in desperation—filled with theft, violence, and cruelty. The cries of the helpless blended with the laughter of the wicked.

No law. No mercy. No hope.

And above it all… stood a tyrant.

From the high balcony of his fortress, Cor watched the suffering below with twisted amusement. His guards roamed freely through the land, snatching whatever they desired—food from starving mouths, coins from trembling hands, even the last possessions of broken families.

Below, the people begged.

Above, Cor laughed.

"I am your one and only ruler!" he declared, his voice booming across the broken city. "Anyone who dares to stand against me—catastrophe will fall upon him… and his entire family!"

Fear silenced the crowd.

Heads bowed. Fists clenched.

They endured… because they believed they had no choice.

But corruption, no matter how powerful, never lasts forever.

One morning, something changed.

A man stepped forward.

He was no noble. No warrior. No king.

Just a beggar—clothed in hardship, shaped by suffering, and hardened by a lifetime of injustice.

But in his eyes burned something the people had long forgotten.

Hope.

"My people of Tayton," he called out, his voice steady yet filled with fire. "Are we not tired?"

Murmurs rippled through the crowd.

"Tired of living under iron rule? Tired of a king who feeds on our pain while we rot beneath his feet?"

The people looked at one another. Something stirred within them.

"You may see me as nothing," the man continued. "Just a poor soul with empty hands… but there is a truth we have ignored for far too long."

He raised his voice.

"United… we stand."

Silence fell.

Then—

"It is time," he declared, his voice ringing like a war bell. "To end this tyranny!"

For a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath.

Then the people roared.

A sound so powerful it shook the very ground beneath them.

The beggar smiled.

"That's the spirit," he said. "Take up whatever you can—and march with me!"

That night, history was rewritten.

The oppressed rose.

The broken fought back.

And the impossible… became reality.

Cor fell.

The tyrant who once stood untouchable was no more.

From the ashes of chaos, the people began to build.

Under the leadership of the man who had given them courage, they worked tirelessly—stone by stone, dream by dream.

Six months later, a castle stood where ruin once reigned.

Strong. Unyielding. Alive.

The people saw in their leader what they had longed for—a man of kindness, courage, and selflessness.

And so, they crowned him.

King Liam—the first ruler of a new era.

With his coronation came a new name for the land.

Tayton was no more.

It became Taytozena.

Years passed, and peace flourished.

King Liam took a gentle woman named Cara as his queen, and together they brought two sons into the world—Kabul and Abenator.

For a time, happiness reigned.

People from distant lands traveled to Taytozena, drawn by tales of its peace and promise. Magical beings—fairies, witches, wizards, and more—settled within the kingdom's borders.

They healed the sick.

They taught the people.

They helped the land prosper.

Soon, Taytozena became a kingdom unlike any other—rich in magic, blessed with nature, and united in harmony.

It was a paradise.

But even paradise… is not eternal.
