Chapter 36 - Warning:

There's good news and bad news.

Perhaps more bad than good, but oh well…

Where should I begin? I suppose a writer's biggest critic is always themselves. To be honest, I started this work as an exercise, a way to speed up my writing pace, something to take lightly and let out some ideas I've always had, given the countless Naruto fanfics I've read. Even so, I didn't want to produce something too mediocre, but I realized that my initial attitude of taking this work lightly had already doomed me to sink into that pit.

There are too many mistakes in everything I've written, from the protagonist, who was initially just going to be a copy of Sukuna, to his relationships, which I rushed unnecessarily and ended up doing something reprehensible like sexualizing characters who are too young. At the time, I didn't even think it through, but then I realized.

Anyway, besides those, there are many other things to correct, like the narrative itself. Since this was the first time I'd written in the third person and in the past tense, it was understandable that it was difficult for me, and I suppose I understand it better now, which is why I find the first few chapters somewhat unbearable. Also, the pacing is too slow… but that's unavoidable; even now I don't know how to fix it.

In short, it turns out I've grown fond of this story, which I initially intended to take lightly. I suppose that's what happens when you dedicate so much time to a project.

At first, I thought about correcting the course of the story from now on, but I've already ruined it too much.

I refuse to let this story become like the vast amount of garbage that abounds in web novels and that I detest so much, so I'm going to rewrite everything. That doesn't mean I'm going to discard what I've already built. The essence will remain, as will many of the established scenarios, but things like the characters, especially the protagonist and their voices, will definitely change. After all, as I said, the protagonist I originally planned was just Sukuna, but it's simply not enough; the guy is too empty.

A slightly more complex Sukuna would be better… (insert evil laugh)

Anyway, the decision has been made.

I'll probably delete this and create a new book, so to those who have been supporting me (you know who you are, I love you), please forgive my selfishness, but this is for the best, or so I hope.

If you'd like, you can continue supporting me when I publish the new story. This time I'll take it seriously, and I assure you that something like this won't happen again.

That's all, I guess.

I'll probably publish that story next Sunday, and I might change the chapter lengths a bit to improve the pacing. That means much longer chapters, perhaps around 5,000 words.

By the way, I'd also like to change the book's title. I'm not very good with those things. Suggestions are welcome.

For now, I'll say goodbye. I hope to see you soon.
