Chapter 6 - 6 The Books Secrets

As the deadline loomed, Miguel spent every free moment studying the Book of Life Cycles. The more he read, the more he realized how little he had truly understood about cultivation.

"Rico, come look at this," he said one night, spreading the book on a wooden table. "The first guardians didn't just cultivate their own power—they created sacred spaces where Lakan could be stored and shared with the entire community."

He pointed to a diagram of a circular formation, marked with symbols that matched those on his ring and necklace.

"The ring is a Key of Flow," he continued. "It lets me direct Lakan where it's needed most. The necklace is a Heart of Balance—it keeps the energy pure and prevents corruption."

Rico leaned in closely. "Can we build one of these sacred spaces here? Would it help us when Don Fernando returns?"

"More than you know," Miguel said, his eyes bright with realization. "If we can create a Grand Cycle, the land itself will become stronger. The rice will grow better, the water will run clearer, and everyone in the area—even those in the city—will benefit."

They spent the next week preparing, marking out the circle with stones from the river, planting special herbs at each cardinal point, and gathering every member of their community to help activate the formation.
