Chapter 1 - The arrival of a shadow fighter

George Black is die-hard fan of shadow fight series, while he didn't like the storyline of shadow fight 3, the game itself is very great. Being a schoolboy he was returned to his home from school, he was scrolling the screen of his smartphone and found that shadow fight 4 is released, he was about to click the install button, he was hit by a lightning, turning him into ash.

A lightning? In middle of clean weather?! I mean there is not cloud in sky, the sun is shining brightly.

Indeed, who thought that there will be a lightning strike in such clean weather, turning that poor boy into ash.

I wonder, what would be reaction of the boy's family, if they learnt that about the boy dying from lightning strike in clean weather.

George whose soul was in void, fall into confusion.

Huh? I was about to install shadow fight 4 from playstore and suddenly everything turn black?

George looked at the source of the voice and found a handsome person, in shining clothes, looking apologetically.

Who are you? And what's this place?

I am god of your world, who look after your world.

George felt his eyes widened, he didn't expect to see a literal god, but he is more curious at how he reached here?

A accidently threw a bolt of holy lightning on you, it was meant for a tyrant businessman far from your location. I intended to punish him. But I slipped and hit you instead. You are dead, after the lightning hit you, your body turn into ash. You are currently a soul with body now.

George is stunned, he immediately facepalmed at god's blunder and his apparent death thanks to that very blunder.

{Sarcastically) Splendid, I am just 15 and my life is over by a god's mistake. What's worse that my family will be heartbroken with my death. It is far worse that unable to play shadow fight 4 game.

I am really ashamed at my mistakes, that's why I decided to make an offer.

And that is?

I am going to restore your body and send you to another world.

Another world? Why not the world I was born into?

There are rules that even us gods have to follow, since you died in your original world, I cannot send you back to that world, instead I have to send you to different world, which won't break the law of universe.

Then give me shadow energy. The power used in shadow fight franchise. That grant it's user great powers, as well as used to enchant anythings or used as materials for shadow artifacts.

Sounds peculiar choice, but I will grant it.

A shadowy energy engulf George's soul, giving him the power he desired.

But energy won't be enough for your journey, I give you shadow sphere, martial books, crafting books, enchantment books, shadow ability book, some coins and artifact making making book, along with the shadow pouch, in which these will be stored. I wish you best of luck in your new life.

Soon, the blinding light envelop George, in next moment, he found himself in middle of forest, he found a water stream nearby and looked at his reflection.

Good thing, I look same as in original world.

He then checked his pouch, he checked it's content. The shadow pouch is essential a shadow artifact that serve as spatial pouch. He took out the martial arts book and shadow ability book, he decided to start with fast styles used by dynastian in shadow fight 3.

He mastered all fast style moves, he decides to move to shadow abilities only to realise that shadow abilities are not innate abilities but require specific equipment to use it, just like in game. Also just like in game shadow energy's strength is determined with a shadow imbued helmet, without it, shadow ability is only good for creating openong but no real damage.

Damn it, I thought it was just gameplay mechanic not actually rules, but I guess I was wrong. Fine, I must find a settlement nearby. Good thing, I have crafting book, will create my own gears and enchant it. But for now I must find a settlement.

George moved forward, to find a village, not knowing he is pursued by a group of pointy eared armed individuals, they are elves, the aen seidhe/hill folk varient, but not any elves, they were scoia'tael, the armed guerrilla groups, known for fighting their human oppressors, though they are alsmo imfamous for killing even innocent humans as well, causing them to be hated by humans and shunned by non-humans including other elves.

George was moving towards straight direction, he randoming chose a direction, coincidentally is is walking straight to elven settlements. The scoia'tael, who believed the human (George) is a threat and prepared to kill him after he find the settlement and turn back to inform other.

But unknown to them, George has no intention to inform other humans about this, he is looking for a place to stay and get a place to rest and purchase materials for his gears. Fortunately for George, the pouch contains some coins that he can use to purchase and pay rent to an inn, if he found one. He will also look for temporary work, to earn some cash as money given by god is limited, and he need to earn more.

He finally reached the settlement, which is filled with elves, George recognised the elves as they are common in fantasy books and comics. The elves saw him with suspicion, but George simply said politely.

Excuse me, is there an inn nearby? I am looking for a place to stay. Don't worry I have money, I will pay the rent.
