Days passed, and Manik was consumed by thoughts of Naina. He was at the office, attempting to work, when Simran burst in. She called him "Baby," sat on his lap, and started unbuttoning his shirt.
Manik instantly grabbed her hand and threw her to the ground. Simran was hurt and enraged. "Why did you throw me? We were lovers! You always cared for me! Why are you ignoring me now?" she screamed.
Manik stood up and shouted, "I love my wife, Naina! And yes, I was attracted to you, but it was never love. Now, I see you only as Vikram's sister, so respect yourself!"
Simran ran out of the office in tears and went straight to Avinash, who was working in his office. Avinash was shocked and worried. Simran hugged him, crying hysterically, and recounted everything Manik had said.
Avinash realized Manik would never change. He concluded that as long as Naina lived, Manik would never love Simran. Avinash decided he would kill Naina.
The Attack
Meanwhile, days continued to pass quietly for Naina. She was in her room at Trisha's penthouse, focused on her printing work, moving forward with her life.
One day, Trisha left for a photo shoot. Naina, working alone, grew hungry and went to prepare lunch. The doorbell rang. When she opened the door, an unknown person was standing there. Before she could ask who he was, he pushed her to the ground and forced his way inside, slamming the door shut.
"Why did you leave me for money?" the stranger hissed, pulling out a knife.
Naina was shocked and terrified. The man grabbed her hair and slapped her so hard that her head slammed into the wall, causing her to bleed. She scrambled backward, fear overriding logic. He grabbed her hair again and slapped her harder. Her lip split and bled. The stranger then slashed the side of her hand with the knife, drawing more blood.
As Naina tried to escape into her bedroom, the attacker caught her. He intended to kill her. Naina fought back, managing to grab the knife away, cutting her hand further in the process.
Just then, a figure grabbed the unknown man from behind by his collar. Naina looked up in surprise-it was Manik. Why was he here? Manik held the attacker firmly, then pulled out a gun and shot the unknown person in the head. The violence, combined with the attack and her injuries, was too much. Naina fainted.
The Confrontation and Confession
Manik carried the unconscious Naina away, taking her to a secret location: his personal safe house, the Dragon Villa-a highly protected villa known only to a few people in his inner circle.
That night, Manik stood face-to-face with Avinash. Avinash was looking down, ashamed.
Manik was distraught. "Why did you arrange to attack Naina? Why did you want to kill her?" he shouted, his voice laced with sorrow and disbelief.
"I didn't do anything wrong to Naina," Avinash insisted.
Manik grabbed Avinash's collar. "How dare you hurt my wife!"
"Who is your wife?" Avinash retaliated. "The one you married in the third vow?"
Furious, Manik ordered him to leave and never return. Avinash broke down. "I did this for my Simran!"
Manik was shocked. He demanded to know about Simran. Avinash confessed, "Simran loves you, and Naina came between you two."
Manik firmly corrected him: "Naina is the Mafia Queen... and my wife!"
Avinash felt a wave of guilt and shame. He silently left the room, leaving Manik alone and hurting, realizing that Naina was injured because of the web of deceit he had spun.
Unbeknownst to them, Trisha had been listening to the entire conversation from an adjacent room. She was furious at both men.
A Fragile Reunion
Two days later, Naina woke up in a massive, king-sized bed. She saw Manik sleeping messily on the side of the bed, his face showing the lack of sleep. She cautiously tried to get up. Manik instantly woke, rushed to her, and tried to help her stand, concern etched on his face.
"I'm fine," Naina said, pulling away, and slowly walked to the bathroom.
Manik stood sadly, watching the closed door. When Naina emerged, he was still standing there. She walked to the bed. Just then, Trisha entered the room (Manik had informed Avinash to contact her). Trisha rushed to Naina, hugged her, and asked, "Do you need anything?"
