"Hello, everyone, I am Alex Nebula, your new lord. As you can probably see, you are my first batch of subjects. I know some of you may have hoped to be summoned by a more established lord. and may feel a little fearful at the moment. I can assure you I will do my best to ensure your safety and well-being."
"I hope we can all work together, so we may build a prosperous and safe territory together. Now, please join me in searching for supplies and tools in these abandoned houses." After his speech, Alex turned his back to his five new subjects and walked slowly to the closest village house so that they could take a moment to process their situation and calm their minds.
The first of the five to stand up were Bernard and Amira, who seemed to regain their wits the fastest. Shortly after them, Maria also began to follow Alex, and not wanting to be left behind, the twins stood up and followed their lord as well.
They spent two hours searching the house, and in the meantime, Alex also tried to break the ice between them so they could all feel more comfortable and work better together. In their search, they found 20 units of wood, 5 units of stone, 3 Rank 0 Common axes, one Rank 0 Common pickaxe, and some unranked utility items.
Before heading to hunt in the surrounding frozen taiga, Alex thought he should check out the new weapon his parents got him as a "goodbye" present.

"Bernard, Amira, you two come with me to hunt some monsters to get meat and resources. Maria, prepare everything you need to cook a meal. In the meantime, Jack and Reed take the axes and chop some wood, but make sure to stay in the dome." The repelling field made by the system of the Lords' plane covered the entirety of his dome-shaped territory.
"Amira, do you sense anything?" Whispered Alex Knowing she had Scouting mastery, which might help a little with finding creatures to hunt.
"Shhh, yes, there are two Rank 0 wolves."
"I will cover us with my fog and support with runes. You two try to kill them swiftly so they won't alert everything around us." I swiftly draw the rune of silence on my fog, which will silence all sound in the fog as Bernard holds his sword and shield, and Amira, dual-wielding a shortsword and a dagger head up to the wolves.
Finally, close enough, I can identify the wolves' information.

Noticing the fog, the wolves both seem to tense up a little, knowing their sight would be impaired, yet, as this is now normal fog, it doesn't help when Bernard sneaks up and chops off the head of the closest wolf to him, while Amira, heading from behind the second wolf, suddenly stabs through its neck without anyone noticing. I put their bodies in my storage ring for now so we can loot them when we return to the village.
After two more hours of hunting, where we only found regular rabbits to hunt, and no more beasts, as we see the sun is about to set, we decide to return to the village.
"2 Rank 0 mana stones, while not enough for anything is still a good result for our first hunt, not even including all the meat we got, my lord."
"You're correct, Bernard, but I still hoped we could have gotten enough for at least Maria's or the twins' Awakening ceremony." In the Lords' plane, people don't get awakened by the system like the myriad world conteders, so to awaken one's power seed, you need to undergo a unique ritual requiring 5 rank 0 mana stones.
Suddenly, Amira stops in her tracks and reaches out her hands to stop us, too. She silently whispers, "Bear, Rank 1, unavoidable." I focus my mana on my eyes in an attempt to see and identify the bear. Finally, when I notice it, I see an enormous four-meter-tall bear partially covered by some sort of ice armor, searching for something in a tree right outside the area of my village.

** Notes: Gelu Bears, a species of bears living in cold areas, usually wield some sort of "cold" element
Amira climbs up the trees, ready to strike it from above. While Bernard and I close on to it in the roles of a tank and an attacker, Bernard uses his skill Protect and Serve(Rank 0 Common) to taunt the bear, "Ahhhh face me, stupid bear," and make it focus only on him for a short while. Using my fog, I write several runes of Endurance on Benrand and runes of Penetration on Amira's Weapons.
The bear charges at Bernard, coming close at 100m, 50m, 20m away, when Bernard charges back with his Steel Charge(Rank 0 Uncommon). I try to flank the bear from the side while Bernard barely manages to stand still thanks to the buffs from the fogs and runes. I hear the screeching sound of the bear's icy claws hitting Bernard's shield. I stab the bear in the back, causing it to straighten up and roar in a beastly manner.
While I cover my ears to avoid damage from the beast's monstrous roar, Amira jumps from the tree and stabs the bear's head from above, and hastily jumps down from the bear while it falls down on the ground lifeless and bleeding. I retrieve my spear from its back and put its body and the storage ring while we return to camp.
In the village, we all group up and sum our progress for the day. We got 2 Rank 0 mana stones, 1 Rank 1 mana stone, and enough food for 2 days. Maria made herself a rudimentary cooking area in one of the village huts, and the twins surprisingly managed to get 30 units of wood, though that's probably because of the empowerment of the fog in the village.
As Maria finished cooking, and the twins brought up water from the well, we all gathered together to eat dinner next to a campfire I made. As we all finished talking, eating, and resting, everyone went to their own respective hut. Maria and Amira are sleeping in the hut with the cooking station, Bernard and the twins are sharing another hut. As I enter my own hut, change my clothes, and get into bed, I decide it's finally time to look at the Lords' Forum.
