Chapter 36 - Training

Six o'clock.

Shibi began his first engagement with the squad he was leading.

Honestly, the overall level of these three new students exceeded his expectations; they were even better than he had anticipated.

Although they are slightly inexperienced, this can be cultivated bit by bit through constant combat.

Shibi looked at the three exhausted people in front of him with satisfaction.

Each of the three brought him surprises: Might Guy, who graduated at eight years old, and Uchiha Yi Hui, who awakened her Sharingan at ten and managed to open her Two-Tomoe Sharingan in such a short time.

These two could definitely be called Geniuses.

However, the last one left completely baffled Shibi.

Is it my imagination, or does this guy seem to get more energetic the more he fights? This amount of Chakra is a bit excessive for his age... Does he not feel tired?

Shibi's face was full of confusion.

Combat requires consuming Chakra, and Chakra is energy refined from the mind and body. The more Chakra one loses, the more one's mind and body become weakened.

But this Bai Lu...

Shibi extended a finger with a reconnaissance bug standing on it; the information it transmitted back made Shibi fall into deep thought.

The entire training ground was now pitted and uneven, clearly having undergone a fierce battle.

"Mr. Bai Lu, Shibi-sensei is too strong. If we continue like this, it won't work..."

Might Guy clenched his fists: "Why don't I further open that technique? Maybe that will create an opportunity."

"It's meaningless. He's a bug user; you can't defeat him with your current Taijutsu level."

Bai Lu stared deeply at Aburame Shibi, his expression grave.

He was strong, and there were no flaws to exploit. He was truly worthy of being the most well-rounded Elite Jōnin.

"My Chakra is almost exhausted, and I can't hold on much longer... Mr. Bai Lu, you also sent out a Shadow Clone to take care of Grandma Obito. How much Chakra do you have left now?"

Ichie gritted her teeth, finding it difficult even to maintain her Sharingan.

Bai Lu said with a solemn expression: "Hmm, my consumption is also high. I've probably lost about thirty percent."

"I see, so there's seventy... What?!"

Ichie's eyes widened.

Sending out a Shadow Clone took away fifty percent of my Chakra. Even though I'm seizing every moment to refine more Chakra to cope with this high-intensity battle, I can only recover to this extent... Oh, it's already recovered to eighty percent now.

Bai Lu looked solemn as he gazed at the silently standing Shibi, feeling that things were a bit tricky.

"What kind of trash talk is this? Are you serious?"

Ichie thought, crazily complaining in her heart.

"You've been fighting for so long and still have that much left?!"

Ichie glared with her Sharingan, watching the Chakra still rolling and flowing within Bai Lu's body, showing no signs of interruption.

"... Then what should we do?"

Ichie gritted her teeth and asked.

"I have an idea... listen to me..."

Even at this point, you're still formulating a brand-new tactic...

Shibi pushed up his sunglasses.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

A huge ball of fire roared towards them, covering most of the training ground. Shibi retreated rapidly while raising both hands, and a large number of bugs flew out from his sleeves.

In front of his bugs, no action could escape his eyes.

A large swarm of bugs flew, bypassing the Great Fireball Technique, and swooped towards the three-person squad with a roar.

Hiss!
