Chapter 254 - Mock Town, the Red-Haired Pirates?!

After a wild night, Kairo D. Arashi also learned from Robin that not only had she gotten along very well with Princess Vivi, she had even become Princess Vivi's archaeology teacher!

Kairo D. Arashi could tell that Robin had lived very well here during the time he had been away at Marine Headquarters. So he didn't say anything more and agreed to Robin's decision to remain in Alabasta!

Of course, he was only going out to travel. It wasn't a life-or-death farewell, so a temporary separation wasn't necessarily a bad thing! Whenever he wanted to visit Alabasta, he could simply come back. It wouldn't affect anything!

What Kairo D. Arashi hadn't expected was that not only Robin, but Perona also wanted to stay behind!

Perona's reason was very simple: she wanted to stay and teach Princess Vivi how to train! Although the reason was simple, Kairo D. Arashi could also tell that the little girl really enjoyed living here!

All right, looks like the traveling party is down to ten people again!

After saying goodbye to Robin, Perona, and Princess Vivi, Kairo D. Arashi didn't linger. He returned to the Traveler alone and once again set off on his journey.

Standing on the coast of Alabasta, Perona watched the Traveler disappear into the distance. She suddenly turned her head toward Princess Vivi standing beside her.

"Vivi, it's a deal! Once you've mastered Observation Haki and Armament Haki, you'll set sail with us to find Kairo D. Arashi. Wow, imagine how happy Kairo D. Arashi would be when he sees the three of us show up together as a traveling party!"

"But… but I'm so stupid… I still haven't mastered Armament Haki!"

Princess Vivi frowned and said pitifully, "I'm afraid I won't be able to learn it and I'll hold everyone back!"

"No, no!"

Perona confidently raised her chin and declared, "With Robin and me teaching you, there'll definitely be no problem!"

"Mm-hmm!"

Vivi nodded vigorously. "I'll definitely work twice as hard, then I'll set sail with you to find Mr. Kairo D. Arashi! Oh, right, we absolutely can't let Igaram and Father know about this!"

Robin, who had been quietly standing to the side, didn't join the two girls' conversation. Her beautiful eyes remained fixed on the stretch of sea where the Traveler had disappeared. Although she felt reluctant to part, she had completely relaxed inside!

Although she had chosen to remain in Alabasta, her heart had already sailed away with Kairo D. Arashi! Most importantly, they were only parting temporarily, not saying farewell forever. Their temporary separation was for…

Kairo D. Arashi lay alone on the deck of the Traveler, staring listlessly at the sky. He had already grown accustomed to having Perona and Robin by his side. Now that he was suddenly traveling alone again, he really wasn't used to it!

"I'm so bored!"

After staring at the sky without blinking for a while, Kairo D. Arashi rolled over like a salted fish. He then grabbed a conical straw hat, placed it over his face, and fell asleep.

When he opened his eyes again, it was already noon.

Kairo D. Arashi had gotten plenty of rest, but he was hungry! After opening his eyes and looking around, he simply stood up, walked into the cabin, and found something to fill his stomach.

"Hmm!"

Just after finishing a piece of bread, Kairo D. Arashi suddenly raised his head and muttered with a blink, "Wait, Robin chose to stay because of her identity, but why does Perona want to stay? No, no, no. That little brat must be plotting something!"

"But what could she possibly be plotting?"

Kairo D. Arashi tilted his head slightly, blinked again, and then laughed.

Whatever.

Since they were in Alabasta now, Robin and Perona were already strong enough to protect themselves!

With that thought, Kairo D. Arashi stopped wondering why Perona had also chosen to remain in Alabasta. He went straight to the storage room, took out a fishing rod, and returned to the deck to start fishing!

And so, Kairo D. Arashi's lonely travels began once again!

Several days later.

After the Traveler sped across the sea, enduring towering waves, sweeping hurricanes, sudden bouts of severe weather, and constantly shifting ocean currents, it finally reached the waters near a small island.

"This is…"

Holding a telescope and looking at the island ahead, Kairo D. Arashi blinked in confusion. He then took out his Log Pose and glanced at it before asking in surprise, "This is… Mock Town?"

"Damn, how did I end up here?"

After confirming that Mock Town was indeed what appeared on the Log Pose, Kairo D. Arashi shrugged slightly.

"Well, whatever. As long as I can earn Travel Points!"

With that, Kairo D. Arashi put away the Log Pose and telescope before steering the Traveler rapidly toward Mock Town.

"Notification: Congratulations, Host, you have arrived at a new travel destination, Mock Town on Jaya Island. You have received a reward of 2,000 Travel Points!"

"Notification: 2,000 Travel Points have been successfully credited to the Host's account. The Host's current Travel Point balance is 13,000!"

As the system's notifications rang out in his mind, the Traveler also smoothly entered Mock Town's harbor.

After the Traveler came to a stop, Kairo D. Arashi still didn't hear any notification announcing a new mission. He couldn't help but freeze.

"Damn it, no mission again? Is it because the previous mission hasn't been completed? No, no. The mission activated at Marine Headquarters doesn't conflict with other missions. It's a mission without restrictions. Or maybe it'll only activate after I arrive in Mock Town?"

Kairo D. Arashi wasn't unfamiliar with Mock Town. It was a place where pirates gathered and indulged in all kinds of debauchery! It was extremely dangerous for ordinary people, but for Kairo D. Arashi, it was actually a pretty good travel destination.

"Hm?"

Just as Kairo D. Arashi was preparing to jump off the ship, a pirate ship suddenly caught his eye.

After turning his head and staring at the enormous pirate ship for a moment, Kairo D. Arashi blinked in surprise.

"This is… the Red-Haired Pirates' ship, the Red Force?"

"Holy crap, why is the entire Red-Haired Pirates crew here?"

With a trace of curiosity, Kairo D. Arashi grabbed a bag of Berries and jumped off the deck, heading toward the town!

Although the appearance of the Red Force was somewhat unexpected, it didn't affect Kairo D. Arashi's mood in the slightest. Most importantly, Mock Town was a place where pirates came to indulge in all kinds of pleasure. Since he was here, of course he had to experience it for himself.

Oh!

The moment he entered the town, Kairo D. Arashi suddenly stopped, his eyes lighting up.

If he could dig up some juicy gossip and secrets from Shanks as well, wouldn't that make the 200,000 Travel Point reward even more secure?!

I'll eat something first and continue. There's more to come…
