The Observer's Tower -- The Cosmos

The Cosmos Tower stands at the absolute centre of the Null Void -- a spire of void-matter that reaches neither up nor down because direction has no meaning where it stands. Its surface is neither stone nor light but something between these things: a material that is simultaneously solid enough to support the weight of eternity and transparent enough that, if one looked at it from the right angle -- which no one ever has -- they would see through it to the Observer seated at its summit.

No Primordial has ever climbed the tower. Not because they are forbidden -- because there is a quality to the tower that communicates, without words, that what sits at its top is available to be seen but not approached. The seven have gathered in the tower's courtyard -- the wide circular base where the seven chains anchor to the central spire -- but the summit belongs to the Observer alone. The tower radiates a warmth that has no temperature. Standing near it produces the specific sensation of being known completely, without judgment, without alteration, without any expectation of change.
