Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Syrup Village, Saving Kaya!

Sailing on the vast sea can be monotonous.

Fortunately, Reno had Nami and Makino accompanying him.

Every day, he would bicker with Nami, causing her to jump up and down.

Or he would tease the easily flustered Makino, then leave satisfied.

These daily trifles always brought Reno great joy.

Of course, the most important thing was discussing'sailing techniques' with the two women.

After Nami and Makino became familiar with each other, Reno directly played 'Landlord'.

He spread his attention evenly!

A few times, they were so engrossed that the ship deviated from its original course, delaying their journey significantly.

"Reno, keep it up! At this rate, we'll reach Syrup Village tomorrow. You'll soon see the beautiful ship's doctor you've been longing for."

Under the parasol, Nami leisurely sipped her juice.

After so many days of interaction, Nami was very curious.

How did Reno know where the beautiful women were?!

And he could even call them by name.

Whether it was Makino from Windmill Village or Kaya from Syrup Village, it was always the same.

Reno's answer to this question was absurd.

A natural perception for beautiful women?!

And one that ignored distance?!

Only a fool would believe that!

Seeing Reno deliberately evade the question, Nami could only let it go.

Makino emerged from the cabin with a towel, gently wiping the sweat from Reno's forehead.

"My Makino is truly the most thoughtful."

Reno looked straight ahead at the vast sea, and as a reward, he kissed Makino on the cheek.

A blush quickly spread across Makino's face.

"I'm going to prepare lunch. Is there anything you'd like to eat?!" Makino asked softly.

"As long as you make it, I'll love to eat it," Reno replied very seriously.

Makino's face grew even redder.

It was a perfectly serious question, but why did it feel like flirting?!

"Nami, what about you?!"

"I'm fine with anything too," Nami waved her hand casually.

Makino nodded and turned to walk towards the kitchen.

After Makino left, Reno once again focused on steering the pirate ship.

During their sea voyage, besides flirting with Nami and Makino, Reno had also tested his newly acquired Teleportation skill multiple times.

When passing by some deserted islands, Reno would temporarily let Nami take over the helm.

And he would then activate Teleportation.

The moment the thought arose, he had already appeared on the island he perceived.

It was simply incomparable to techniques like Soru.

Not only that, Reno was surprised to find that he could even bring people with him when teleporting, as long as they were within a certain weight limit.

Teleporting with two girls is no problem, but for large items like a pirate ship, it's impossible.

Reno also left spatial coordinates on an island he passed. After sailing a long distance, he could use the coordinates to instantly return to the island.

After many trials, Reno concluded that he had become the fastest man in the entire One Piece World.

As fast as thought, so fast was he.

Combined with the Healing-Healing Fruit, he was invincible in terms of self-preservation!

With anticipation for the future, Reno sped up a bit more.

Syrup Village is located in a relatively remote part of the East Blue.

Additionally, there's nothing particularly valuable in the nearby sea, so it's rarely disturbed by pirates.

This day, as the first rays of morning sun just rose from the sea, Usopp, wearing a brown-yellow suspender outfit and with a large nose, stretched comfortably.

"Looks like it's another good day today."

"Whose Pirate Crew is it today?!"

Usopp thought for a moment and quickly had an idea.

Before long, the entire village was filled with that familiar yet annoying voice that all the villagers knew.

"Oh no, the Silver Wolf Pirate Crew is attacking, this time it's real!!"

"Everyone wake up quickly, they're really here!!!"

"If you don't run now, it'll be too late!"

The voice was extremely penetrating, traveling from one end of the village to the other, heard by every household.

"This hateful brat, can't he just be quiet for one day?!"

"Exactly, he shouts it every day, isn't he tired?!"

"Usopp, I'll silver your grandma's leg!!"

The sleeping villagers were awakened by the noise, muttering curses.

But they couldn't bear to leave their warm beds, so they could only suppress their anger and bury their heads in the quilts.

Only the closest few households opened their doors and greeted Usopp.

Their words were so 'pleasant'.

Like birds singing and flowers blooming.

After nearly ten minutes of shouting at each other, both sides finally ceased.

Outside, Usopp laughed triumphantly.

But only for a moment, Usopp's smile faded as he looked at the distant sea, a hint of melancholy welling up in his heart.

If pirates really came here, that would be great.

Then he would definitely save the villagers from their plight, and the people in the village would surely hail him as a great hero.

Lost in his imagination, Usopp subconsciously glanced at the sea and suddenly froze.

He clearly saw a small pirate ship sailing towards Syrup Village.

"A pirate ship?!"

Usopp's eyes lit up.

He used his extraordinary dynamic vision to look. On the deck, a man and two women were chatting and laughing, their gestures intimate.

Besides them, there was no one else.

Seeing this, Usopp looked disappointed.

The ship looked like a pirate ship, but with this crew configuration, it didn't look like a Pirate Crew at all.

But Usopp still walked to the shore, ready to greet them.

That's right, he was just that warm-hearted, definitely not trying to boast about himself in front of strangers to earn their admiration.

As the distance closed, Reno, at the bow of the ship, naturally also saw Usopp on the shore.

The sniper of the Straw Hat Pirate Crew.

There's a saying in the One Piece World:

"Luffy in fair winds, Zoro against the current, Usopp in despair," which describes the person in front of him.

However, Reno wasn't interested in him.

After docking the pirate ship at the shore, Reno, Nami, and Makino disembarked one after another and stepped onto the small island.
