Riley's POV
"Perfect timing, sweetheart. Caleb and Mason were just telling me about this wonderful party happening right across the street, and apparently you've been invited." My mother's voice carries an odd note of excitement as she studies my appearance with raised eyebrows.
I glance toward the living room where both boys are positioned near our couch. Mason sports his trademark grin, all charm and easy confidence, while Caleb remains stone-faced, his dark eyes tracking my every movement with an intensity that makes my skin prickle. That's when the mortification hits me like a freight train.
I'm standing here in my brand new silk pajama set, the soft pink material barely covering what it should. The crop top clings to my curves while the matching shorts ride dangerously high on my thighs. I had only come downstairs to ask my mom about my missing sweater, never expecting to find company in our living room.
