Riley's POV
My eyes go wide, shock flooding through me like ice water. My heart hammers against my ribs so hard I can barely breathe. There's absolutely no way that's possible. Even if it were true, how could he possibly know something like that? Oscar just chuckles at my expression, that knowing look still dancing in his eyes. "Let's just say I've got good instincts about these things."
Good instincts? That's more than instincts. That's practically supernatural. And he didn't just say one life. He said lives. Multiple. As in more than one baby growing inside me right now. My legs feel weak underneath me, and I can't seem to process what he's suggesting.
This cannot be happening. This cannot be real.
