Dragonair stopped and looked down at her daughter, her eyes as gentle as melted water.

"Baby, you're too nervous."

"Mom has lived in this lake for a long time; what haven't I seen? It's just a few little guys outside scattering some food."

Dratini shook its head vigorously, its small body twisting and turning.

"No, no! I've heard other Pokemon say it! Humans use delicious food to lure us and then catch us!"

Dragonair looked tenderly at her daughter's anxious state and gently patted her head with the tip of her tail.

"It's a small problem~"

As she spoke, her body had already bypassed Dratini, continuing to swim toward the source of the fragrance.

"There's no danger in this. Just three little humans, how powerful can they be?"

"But Mom..."

Dratini spun around in place anxiously, its tail spinning like a propeller.

Dragonair turned back and winked at her daughter.

"Look how strong Mom is, how could I be caught by humans? Didn't Mom send that sneak attacker flying with one tail swipe last time?"

Dratini was left speechless.

"And besides."

Dragonair swam forward a bit further, getting closer and closer to the fragrance.

"This thing really smells so good~"

There was a hint of excitement in her voice.

As she spoke, Dragonair had already swum to the area where the feed had fallen into the water.

She lowered her head and stuck out her tongue to gently touch the feed on the water's surface.

Then.

Dragonair's eyes suddenly widened.

This taste.

This taste!!!

Without another word, she opened her mouth and took a big bite.

A rich aroma exploded in her mouth, the flavor rushing from her tongue to her forehead, making her whole body tremble.

"So delicious, so delicious, so delicious!"

Dragonair abandoned her previous mature and reserved demeanor, her tail swaying wildly from side to side, splashing large waves.

She took bite after bite, the corners of her mouth stained with feed crumbs.

Dratini watched from behind, both anxious and embarrassed, its small face turning very red.

"Mom! Stop eating, stop eating! This is a human trap! You'll be lured away..."

Dragonair lifted her head from the water, still chewing the feed, her cheeks bulging.

"No, no~"

She swallowed the food in her mouth and licked the corners of her lips.

"How could Mom be lured by food? Mom isn't a fool who follows humans just for something to eat."

Saying that, she lowered her head and took another bite.

"Come here, baby, you eat some too!"

Dragonair beckoned to Dratini, her tail wagging back and forth on the water's surface.

"This thing is really, really delicious! A hundred times better than water plants! No, ten thousand times!"

Dratini stood in the distance, its mouth tightly pursed, its eyes full of resistance.

"I won't eat it! Mom, come back quickly!"

Dragonair sighed and took another bite.

"Look at Mom, is there any danger?"

She spread her arms and turned in a circle in the water, her movements elegant and fluid.

"There isn't any! Mom is eating happily, and nothing is wrong."

She swam back a little and rubbed her nose against Dratini's cheek.

"Baby, you're too nervous; that's not good for your health. Come on, listen to Mom, take one bite, just one bite."

Dratini felt a bit itchy from its mother's rubbing and couldn't help but shrink its neck, but it still firmly turned its head away.

"Not eating."

"You child, you're so stubborn."

Dragonair shook her head helplessly and swam back to continue enjoying her delicacy.

...

On the shore.

Misty squatted next to Roy, her chin resting on her arms, staring unblinkingly at the float on the water.

Her legs felt a bit numb from squatting so long, so she simply sat down, crossing her legs and revealing a section of her fair calves.

Delia was nearby taking care of Pikachu and Eevee; her mind was half on Roy's fishing rod and half on what soup to make when they got back.

Walnut and Pork Rib Stew? Or Lotus Seed and White Fungus? Should she add some Goji Berries?

She thought more and more seriously...

Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, Misty noticed the float on the water move.

Misty instantly became energized, all her random thoughts flying out of her mind.

She grabbed Roy's arm, her fingers trembling slightly with excitement.

"A fish is biting! A fish is biting! Roy, pull it quickly!"

Her voice was kept low, but her tone was incredibly urgent, and she was almost jumping off the ground.

Roy glanced down at the water.

The float was indeed moving.

And it was moving quite a bit; the fishing line was pulled taut, and the tip of the rod was bending downward.

But Roy didn't pull.

He didn't even touch the fishing rod.

He reached into the bag, grabbed another handful of feed, and threw it where the float had just moved.

The feed landed on the water with a "splash," creating small ripples.

Misty watched this scene, completely stunned.

Her mouth hung open as she looked at the moving float, then at the feed in Roy's hand, her expression as if she had seen the sun rise from the west.

"Hey! Roy! Are you here to fish or to feed the fish?"

Misty's voice rose unconsciously.

"The float is moving like that, why aren't you pulling? What on earth are you doing!"

Delia also watched Roy's actions with curiosity; although she didn't understand, she was used to Roy having his reasons for everything he did.

Roy finished scattering the last bit of feed in his hand, patted the crumbs off his hands, and said softly.

"This 'fish' is extraordinary."

His gaze fell on the calm lake surface, his voice carrying a calm certainty.

"Feed it more."

Misty was stunned for a moment.

"Huh?"

She looked hard into the water, her eyes wide, wishing she could stick her head right in.

"What fish is extraordinary? Did you see it?"

The water was crystal clear, and the sand, stones, and water plants at the bottom could be seen. Occasionally a few small fish swam by, but there was no special fish.

"Isn't there nothing there?"

She turned to look at Roy, her face full of question marks.

"What exactly are you fishing for?"

Roy looked at the water and lightly tapped his knee with his finger.

"You'll know in a moment."

Saying that, he threw another handful of feed.

...

Underwater.

Dragonair was eating even more happily.

She was now almost soaked in the aroma of the feed, taking bite after bite, wishing she could bury her head in the pile of food.

Dratini watched from the side, its anxiety turning into anxiety plus helplessness, then into anxiety plus helplessness plus speechlessness.

"Mom!!"

Dratini's voice even had a hint of crying.

"Stop eating, stop eating, I beg you! This is a human trap! They use delicious things to lure you, and then while you're not paying attention..."

"What will they do while I'm not paying attention?"

Dragonair turned her head, her cheeks still bulging and the corners of her mouth stained with feed crumbs, a look of complete satisfaction on her face.

"Look at Mom."

She turned in a circle in the water again, splashing water everywhere.

"Is there any danger?"

"Is there any big danger?"

She swam over and used the tip of her tail to scoop up some feed and bring it to Dratini's mouth.

"Be good, have a taste, it's really too delicious. When has Mom ever lied to you?"

Dratini kept its mouth tightly shut and tried its best to shrink back.

"I won't!"

"You child."

Dragonair sighed.

"You really don't know what world-class delicacies are."

Saying that, she ate that mouthful of feed herself.

Mmm.

So fragrant.

Just as the mother and daughter were going back and forth.

The lake water around them began to undergo some subtle changes.

The direction of the current changed.

Originally, it naturally spread from the center of the lake to the surroundings, but now it began to do the opposite.

Around Dragonair and Dratini, the water level was slowly, slowly rising.

A Blue light film, almost invisible to the naked eye, was quietly rising from the bottom of the water, slowly encircling the entire area of water around the mother and daughter.

Dragonair was still eating.

Dratini was still anxious.

Neither dragon noticed.

On the water's surface, Roy sat on the shore, his right index finger lightly resting on his knee, his finger slightly curved.

A faint blue light, almost invisible, flashed in his eyes as he silently activated his Psychic power.

Controlling the Water sphere area enveloping the Dragonair mother and daughter, he slowly raised it toward the surface.
