Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Omniscience

"I happen to be going abroad for a trip, and the villa will be vacant for half a year. Do you want to rent it?" Professor Qin asked directly.

Originally, even if he rented it out, he would only rent it to acquaintances he knew well.

But Su Yuan... although Professor Qin and Su Yuan hadn't known each other long, they felt like old friends at first sight.

Moreover, Su Yuan was a student at Modu University, and Professor Qin had taught there for decades.

In Professor Qin's view, he felt he knew Su Yuan quite well.

As for Su Yuan's character, there was nothing to fault.

If his character were slightly lacking, he wouldn't have actively helped him up.

Given the current social climate, which normal person dares to help an elderly person?

"Is this... appropriate?" Su Yuan hesitated.

"What's inappropriate about it?"

The more Su Yuan acted this way, the more reassured Professor Qin became.

"However, I'm short on time and need to head to the airport immediately, so I probably won't be able to sign a formal lease agreement with you."

Professor Qin pondered for a moment, then waved his hand decisively: "How about this: you stay in the villa first. I'll charge you fifty thousand per month for rent, and we can settle the rent when I return in half a year?"

Without a formal lease agreement, Professor Qin felt uncomfortable accepting payment upfront, so he simply suggested Su Yuan pay later.

In fact, considering the property values in Jinshan Villa District, fifty thousand a month was practically a giveaway.

Professor Qin wasn't short on money; he mainly didn't want the house sitting empty. Now that he had found a satisfactory tenant, money was secondary.

Owners who can afford to live in this villa district aren't lacking money either.

"How about I pay first?" Su Yuan suggested.

"No need."

Professor Qin shook his head. "I still have great faith in the credibility of Modu University students."

It wasn't just his status as a Modu University student; through their conversation, Professor Qin had also discovered Su Yuan's unique insights in the field of Life Science.

Such a promising talent would surely achieve things not much less than his own in the future, making him completely trustworthy.

"Thank you, Professor Qin." Su Yuan stood up and said.

"Don't thank me for anything."

Professor Qin immediately led Su Yuan to the main gate of the villa district.

"Xiao Wang." Professor Qin waved toward the guard booth.

Immediately, a middle-aged man with a straight posture walked out.

"Old Qin." The middle-aged man bowed slightly toward Professor Qin as a sign of respect.

"While I'm out of the country, my nephew/junior relative will be staying in the villa." Professor Qin introduced Su Yuan.

Having Su Yuan pose as his relative was to expedite the process, as only this way could they avoid various inquiries from the security guards and delay his boarding time.

"My name is Lin Haichuan." Su Yuan immediately said.

"Mr. Lin." The middle-aged man bowed slightly.

"Later, take Xiaochuan to record his fingerprints and iris scan." Professor Qin said.

In high-end communities like Jinshan Villa District, entry and exit require iris and fingerprint verification.

Even every security guard in the community has memorized the owners' information.

If you aren't an owner, you can't get in at all; even if you sneak inside, you'll be discovered by the patrolling security.

Half an hour later, Professor Qin had roughly finished handling the community matters.

After exchanging contact information with Su Yuan, he immediately headed to the airport.

Su Yuan, led by the security guard, arrived at Villa No. 66.

"Beep—" Through the iris and fingerprint recognition, Su Yuan successfully entered the villa.

The villa has three stories, an independent garden, lawn, and lake, plus two underground levels, covering an area of over five thousand square meters.

After entering, Su Yuan quickly looked around before sitting down on the living room sofa.

"Everything went smoothly." Su Yuan let out a soft breath.

From the moment he appeared at the coffee shop outside the community,

every action, gesture, expression, and word he spoke was strictly carried out according to the 'answers' provided by the gray mirror.

Only by doing so could he ensure that Professor Qin would proactively rent the villa to him, despite meeting him for the first time.

If any single step or action had been wrong, it would have caused Professor Qin to hesitate, thereby affecting the final outcome of renting the villa to him.

All of Professor Qin's reactions were within the gray mirror's prediction, which guided Su Yuan on how to reply, deepen their relationship, and gain his trust.

It could be said that Professor Qin, in his entirety, held no secrets before the gray mirror—he was completely transparent.

The reason for choosing Jinshan Villa District as his place of residence

was primarily due to this specific timing.

Because Professor Qin was rushing to catch his flight and didn't have time to sign a lease agreement, Su Yuan successfully moved in without needing any identification.

In other words, besides Professor Qin, no one knew that Su Yuan had moved into the Jinshan Community.

As for 'Lin Haichuan,' whom Professor Qin knew? That was just a fake name Su Yuan randomly chose. The outside world couldn't trace it at all.

"For the next two years, this place belongs to me." A smile appeared on Su Yuan's face.

Professor Qin had said he was only going abroad for half a year.

But the gray mirror had told Su Yuan that Professor Qin would be detained abroad for at least two years due to some unforeseen circumstances.

"Is this the method of Omniscience?" Waves stirred in Su Yuan's heart.

Planning strategies within a tent! Calculating without fail!

Every action taken and every word spoken carried profound meaning.

"Calculating the time, the Ganoderma and old ginseng I bought should have arrived." Su Yuan looked outside the villa.

More than two days ago, after Su Yuan received his first million-yuan bounty, he began selecting various Ganoderma and old ginseng to prepare for his Cultivation.

Since they were purchased online, it took time for these Ganoderma and old ginseng to be transported here.

As for the shipping address... Su Yuan had already determined through the gray mirror two days ago that his residence would be here.

Therefore, the shipping address for the numerous Ganoderma and old ginseng he purchased was Jinshan Community, No. 66.

"Security Office." The middle-aged man, Manager Wang, was informing the security guards about the latest owner information for the villa district.

"The owner of Villa No. 66 is now Old Qin's nephew/junior relative, named 'Lin Haichuan.' You must remember this, so you aren't speechless when you see him."

Manager Wang looked at the many security guards and said in a deep voice.

"Old Qin's relative?" "I remember Old Qin has a son, but he went abroad." "Yeah, I didn't expect Old Qin to have another relative." The security guards couldn't help but whisper.

"That's enough." Manager Wang frowned. "If anyone discusses the owners again, there will be a thousand-yuan fine."

At these words, the many security guards immediately quieted down.

Just then, a voice came from outside.

"The delivery for the owner of Villa No. 66 has arrived!"

Manager Wang walked out and looked at the seven or eight large boxes. "Did Mr. Lin buy these?"

"Yes." The courier nodded. "Do you want to deliver them, or should I?"

"We'll deliver them." Manager Wang said.

This was also a rule in Jinshan Villa District: all takeout and packages were delivered to the owners by the security and property management.

"It seems Mr. Lin really is Old Qin's relative," Manager Wang thought to himself.

These packages were clearly bought before today.

And to have filled out the shipping address as Jinshan Villa District, No. 66, before today... undoubtedly, Mr. Lin had already determined he would be moving in.

Otherwise, wouldn't all these purchased items fail to reach his hands?

Under these circumstances, the relationship between Mr. Lin and Old Qin must be extraordinary.

Half an hour later, the seven or eight large boxes were delivered into Villa No. 66.

Su Yuan opened the boxes one by one, arranging the numerous Ganoderma and old ginseng around him.

He then took a deep breath. Cultivation began.
