Emily and Chloe carefully positioned the massive, structured gown on the plush carpet, spreading the delicate layers so I could carefully step into the center... I stepped into the silhouette, holding my breath as they pulled the structured boning up over my hips and torso.
Once the dress was pulled into position, Emily stepped behind me to fasten the intricate corset ropes that ran down my lower back... a custom modification we had added to the original runway design during my final fitting to ensure the waist was snatched to absolute perfection.
Emily pulled the silk cords taut, securing the knot at the base of my spine.
She stepped back, smoothing down the train, and let out a breathless exhale. "Wow... honestly, you look like royalty, Sabrina. It's perfect."
I turned slowly to face the massive gilded mirror in the corner of the suite, taking in my full appearance for the very first time.
