Kine, a bit flustered, turns back slightly to see why he stopped and sees Di mustering up courage to say something to him Kine waits, Di still holding Kine's one of the sleeves nervously looking at the ground.
Di : Thank you for everything just now and.....before too.
Shyly looking down Dipole swings Kine's hand while holding his sleeve.To which Kine smiles and answers
Kine : It's all good (leans closer to Di ears) and don't forget to treat me tonight.
Di who was looking at the ground this whole time flustered and suddenly looks up and gets a head bump with Kine's jaws. Now both were in slight pain
Kine and Di (in little pain yet simultaneously say) : You okay? Does it hurt a lot?
Both giggle at this act of theirs. Mr. Aether enters but didn't notice any *MOC*.
Mr. Aether (casually) : Don't you two wanna leave or what? (smirks and leaves).
Kine and Di realise and leave too.
In the evening, at the party location, Di was restless not with his body but with eyes. Not even he knew why he was so then. Suddenly the door opened and somebody entered. It was Ms. Sushimi with a bouquet in her hands. Though 58, nobody else looked as elegant as she is. Di's eyes which shone up with glimmer a moment ago lost their shine while receiving the bouquet. He wasn't expecting her but somebody else.
Suddenly the music went a bit slow and soothing, flickering lights also showed smooth rhythms, there was he for whom the most restless eyes awaited. Kine's eyes met Di's. Unknowingly Di smiled and his eyes glimmered once again, receiving the gift Kine brought but couldn't hear what he said. Kine who was in his formals similar to the school's yet looked dressed up. The world was dim and blurry; it was just Kine and Di. For a few moments both of them holding the gift looking into each other's eyes unknowingly smiling stood, unless Ms. Sushimi interrupted to ask Di, the star of the evening, to say a few words. Both of them came back to reality, flustered and red (which of course wasn't seen due to dim light). Di thanked everyone but he didn't know after every few moments his eyes drew to Kine and he smiled. After his short and boring speech everyone was back to eating and chit chatting. Kine approaches Di.
Kine : You were good up there.
Di : (who knew he didn't do good, makes a face) Really? You don't need to do this okay. (Passes him a small side smile)
Ms. Fervor gets a call and prepares to leave
Kine : Miss, why are you leaving so early it's still not even 8:30 yet?
Fervor : I know, but I'm a woman with responsibilities and family, I need to. (Waves goodbye to everyone)
Meanwhile Di realises terrified froze at the spot tears filled his eyes Musters up courage and picked up his coat pays up the bill and leaves without caring for anyone to reply
Kine(to himself) : What happened?

Di hurries to reach home.
Scene : Di's home,
Di nervous wet with sweat knocks the door. His father opens the door. Di scared a bit but tries to slip away yet stopped by him
Di's father: Why are you so late? Did you forget the punishment you got last time or shall I refresh your memory? (smirks)
Di (stammers) : I'm tired right now. I'll go to my room.
Di's father : Your mom is out to her mother's place. She might not be returning home till the day after tomorrow. Moreover Riva is not gonna return any soon. (Moves closer and closer to Di) And it's a weekend too. Tomorrow we both will be home. Why don't the two of us have some quality time together? (touches him awkwardly)
Rather than feeling disgusted and uncomfortable he couldn't say a word. He moved himself a bit back to where he stood while his father moved forward towards him until they reached the closed main door. Di scared from the core. Suddenly somebody knocks on the door. Di, relieved for some time, opens the door to find Kine at the door.
Kine (with a small smile) : You forgot your phone there.
Kine peeps inside and sees Di's father greets him. To that Di's father rolls his eyes. Kine, who felt something off, asked for a glass of water from Di. Di hesitant yet nods and turns back to go to the kitchen, while Kine enters behind him. Di's father turns upset and starts to question Kine.
Di's father: Who the heck are you and how do you know my son? Moreover, are you so close that you know where he lives? Surprisingly, Di never told us any 'bout you....
Di walks in with a glass of water and is curious as well as scared what will be Kine's answer. Kine receiving the glass from Di answers
Kine : Uncle, I'm Kinematics. I and Di are colleagues in the same department. He left his phone there. I was worried that he might require it so I...
Di's father: So late at night, you could have come in the morning.
Kine nods gently to counter that question and then
Di's father: Handed over the phone yet!?
Kine : No, I...
Di's father (rudely) : Then what are you waiting for, hand over the phone and leave already.
Kine clenches the glass and gulps all the water in the glass in one go, while handing over the phone to Di
Kine (whispers) : Call me if you need anything.
Kine leaves and Di too rushes to his room immediately, closes the door from inside. Leaps onto his bed coldly looking at the phone. Didn't realise where that scared shiver got lost and a gentle smile came onto his face. Smiling, he said,
