Chapter 41 - Chapter 13 – Streets of Chaos (1926)

Windgrave had grown restless. Rumors of Stand users attacking traders, black feathers scattered in the streets, and the whispers of an unseen leader created tension in every alleyway. Josiah moved cautiously, Solar Titanium close by, the golden Stand's presence radiating reassurance.

From the corner of his eye, movement flickered. Three cloaked figures rushed from opposite streets, aiming to corner him. Josiah clenched his fists. Solar Titanium moved in perfect sync, striking the first attacker with a precise, Hamon-infused punch. The second drew a whip-like weapon, snapping it toward Josiah. Solar Titanium intercepted mid-air, the force of the strike sending shards of stone scattering across the street.

Josiah countered, striking with Solar Strike, a rapid flurry of punches augmented by Hamon. Each strike connected, each blow amplified by instinctive precision. The third attacker tried to flee, but Josiah leapt, Solar Titanium following in perfect tandem, and landed a decisive punch that sent them sprawling.

The battle was brutal but short. Josiah could feel his body burning, his muscles straining under the constant exertion. Solar Titanium's movements were flawless, but he realized the enemies' coordination was improving—they adapted, avoided repetition, and learned from each clash.

He paused to catch his breath, eyes scanning the streets. A faint black sigil glimmered on a nearby wall. Josiah knew it wasn't random; someone was orchestrating these attacks, studying him from afar.

He clenched his jaw. "We'll get stronger. We'll be ready for whoever's behind this," he muttered. Solar Titanium mirrored his stance, golden fists ready. Josiah's resolve solidified. Every encounter, every clash, every bruise was a lesson, sharpening his instincts and synchrony with his Stand.

As night fell, he continued training amidst the debris of broken walls and shattered cobblestones. Each strike became sharper, faster, more fluid. Hamon flowed through him seamlessly, amplified by Solar Titanium. Josiah was no longer testing limits—he was exceeding them.

Somewhere in the shadows, eyes watched him. The figure behind the sigils remained hidden, yet its presence pressed on the air like a storm waiting to break. Josiah didn't know it yet, but the true battle was approaching—and it would challenge everything he had learned.
