Chapter 1 - Utrai

..LilyTrain at Midnight

It was a cold, silent night when Arjun reached the empty railway station. The clock above the platform read 11:57 PM. Just three minutes before midnight—the time the last train was supposed to arrive.

But something felt strange.

There were no passengers. No vendors shouting. No distant hum of engines. Just the whisper of the wind and the flickering yellow lights above.

Arjun checked his phone. No signal.

He sighed and sat on a wooden bench, clutching his small bag. He had no choice—he had to catch this train. Going back was not an option.

A sudden announcement broke the silence.

"The train arriving at Platform 2 will depart shortly. Passengers are requested to board immediately."

Arjun stood up, confused. There was no train in sight.

Then, slowly… out of the fog, a train appeared.

It made no sound.

No screeching brakes. No rumbling tracks.

Just… silence.

The doors slid open.

Hesitant but desperate, Arjun stepped inside.

The compartment was dimly lit. Empty.

He chose a seat near the window. As soon as he sat down, the doors closed.

The train began to move.

Still… no sound.

Minutes passed. Or maybe hours—time felt different here.
