Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Ordinary life

Earth, America, Countryside.

In a medium-sized house in a rural area surrounded by forest, a small voice rang out in the living room. "Yooo!!! This TV show is absurd! A cold CEO suddenly falls in love with a girl he just met and immediately becomes a yandere? What kind of strange plot is in the director's head!" said the man with a faint smile on his lips, his expression hard to read.

He was relaxing on the sofa, his legs crossed, and a cup of warm coffee in his hand.

Then,

his hand slowly moved up, inhaling the aroma of the coffee and said, "I never knew that coffee fermented from animal feces would have such a strong aroma and taste. And the price is not cheap, if I drink it every day, it might burn my wallet down to hell,, yet but that's life, let's not think too much and enjoy moment to moment despite the ups and downs." His lips turned up slightly and smiled while a calm expression appeared on his face.

And "I'm sure that some people also think this is strange and unacceptable, and maybe some people don't care and try it as a new experience for themselves," then slowly took a sip, savoring the taste of black coffee in the middle of the night accompanied by an absurd television show.

Suddenly, the TV flickered, emitting static channel.

"What now?" he asked, staring at the flickering TV, while his other hand pressed the remote control, trying to change the channel, but it remained the same. He sighed, took a final sip of his coffee, and set the cup aside on the table beside him. He reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone, and looked at it.

No signal, no internet. It was 1:00 AM.

"Is something strange going on?" he muttered softly as he continued checking his phone.

After a few moments

he moved off the couch and stood up slowly, rubbing his back a little. "there a lot of mosquito and they're even bite me in the back."

Then he glanced at the back of his elbow, his eyes wide with disbelief as he noticed a large lump then said "Shit!!! THEY GOT me in there too!. They sure wanted suck me dry or something?. Alas"

He sighed, "Maybe I should go outside and get some fresh air!. It's better than staying on the couch I can't sleep now".

"yeah of course you can't sleep idiot, now you drank civet poops coffee while knowing you can't sleep!. whatever..." muttern to himself

He began to move his feet and took a few steps to the door, then grasped the handle and opened it. He stepped out, his eyes scanning the surroundings.

The countryside was quiet, surrounded by trees. A cool breeze brushed against his skin, and the only sound was the natural chirping of crickets around his house.

Gde took a deep breath. "The countryside is truly beautiful. while the natural smell is refreshing for someone like me. Then Some people might like it, some might not, in the end who knows?," he said with a faint smile, his arms stretched out to his neck, enjoying the view.

out of nowhere, he began shadow boxing ifront terrace of his house while sweat started to appears on his forehead.

he stopped and breathed in and out naturally, sweat pouring out of his body, and curiously looked up to see the stars.

A few moments later,

he saw something falling from the sky.

"Asteroid? Or maybe a satellite debris? is it a coincidence?," he said, his eyes focused on the object coming from the sky, accompanied by space debris burning the atmosphere.

Gde said, "Whoaaaa!! its comming hereee!!! He stared at the asteroid calmly, but a hint of surprise was evident on his face, undeniable as he calculated and guessed its trajectory, as his eyes looked at the area where it would likely land in the forest around the countryside, then looked back at the asteroid, "It's close by!!" his eyes focus onto it.

The object grew larger as it descended, slicing through the night sky.

A faint sound followed.

Swoosh... sssssss...

Then

Booooommmm!!!!

The impact echoed through the forest, as the ground shook slightly.

Gde squinted as he watched the asteroid crash into the forest, watching the smoke-covered sky slowly clear and the forest surrounding the asteroid's impact. Meanwhile, the sound of car alarms could be heard in the background, coming from neighboring houses in the area

"BEEPPP....

BEEEEEP....

zzzzzzzzzzz...".

His eyes darted around the neighbors' houses, even though they were far away. Gde's house was on a plateau, so he could see of the surroundings.

His hands clenched tightly, and his mind raced, thinking, "Now that I think about it, this is a bit odd, and now I'm even more convinced that the asteroid impact caused the signal & internet down. Maybe this isn't just a coincidence."

Then there was a moment of silence.

"Should I check it out? Or maybe just call the police?, IDIOT, there's no signal at all... or just stay home like a princess nothing happend." he sighed "I knew it the black coffee would make things worse" staring at the area where the asteroid had crashed.

After a few minutes of thought,

He made up his mind. "Let's see it, just in case. Who knows, maybe it could be a waifu come down to earth hehehe. Yeah, the stupidest thing. I can't sleep either, not just because of fermented coffee made from animal shit!!,"

He stared at the moonlit forest and shook his head. while taking deep breath calm his mind as entering the house and headed to the Hidden Warehouse.

A moment later,

Inside the hidden storage room, his eyes fell on the gun rack, he decided to grab a shotgun. "I'm not Superman after all, aim wide at close range, while a regular rifle is fine yet the experience was different, or maybe something more dangerous," he said quietly while glanced at machine gun above the rack then shacking his head as he loaded the shotgun. his other hand reached for the headlamp on the bottom shelf and a karambit knife.

He brushed his messy black hair back and put headlamp on.

After a few minutes of getting ready,

he stepped outside and looked around, noticing no light coming from the neighboring windows.

He muttered softly, "It seems the people in the countryside didn't think much of it. They were probably sleeping soundly. Even if they noticed the impact and the slight ground impact. they probably ignored it. or maybe in this area countryside really does experience frequent asteroid impacts and the people here are probably used to it." A few moments later, he began walking into the edge of the forest, humming a tune, occasionally twirling the karambit on his left hand, and walking towards the crash site in the dense forest. As the moonlight illuminated the countryside, the cool night breeze touched his skin.
