Chapter 1 – Betrayal and Death

The clock struck 11:57 PM. Inside a silent office, only the sound of keyboard typing echoed in the darkness. Arjun sat alone, his eyes red from exhaustion, fingers moving mechanically over the keys.

"Finish this today… or don't come from tomorrow."

His boss's cold voice replayed again and again in his mind. Arjun stopped typing for a moment and looked at the screen. His reflection stared back at him—tired, broken, empty. At the age of 27, he had nothing. No respect at work. No peace at home. No one who truly cared. A bitter smile formed on his lips.

"Is this… really my life?"

After finishing his work, he slowly stood up, his body aching. The office was empty—just like his life.

Outside, the night was cold and silent. Streetlights flickered as Arjun walked home alone. Each step felt heavy. Yet, somewhere in his heart… a small hope remained.

"Maybe today… she won't shout at me."

But deep down—he already knew the truth.

Click.

The door opened. And in that single moment—everything shattered.

On the bed… his wife. And another man. Their laughter filled the room.

Arjun froze. His mind went blank. The world around him stopped.

"Huh… you're back?" his wife said casually.

The man beside her smirked. "So this is your husband? Pathetic."

Each word stabbed into Arjun's heart. His lips trembled.

"You… what is this…?"

THUD!

A heavy strike hit the back of his head. Pain exploded through his skull. His vision blurred. He slowly turned—his wife stood behind him, holding an iron rod. Her face… cold and emotionless.

"Yes, I wanted you gone. You were nothing but a burden."

The man grabbed Arjun by his collar and threw him to the ground.

"You should've understood your place."

Blood spread across the floor. Arjun struggled to breathe. His body refused to move. His vision slowly darkened. Tears mixed with blood. His heart screamed—but no sound came out.

"Is this… how I die…?"

The last thing he saw—was the two of them looking down on him without mercy.

Darkness.

...

DING!

A strange mechanical sound echoed.

[System Activated]

[Reincarnation Successful]

Arjun's eyes suddenly opened. He gasped violently. Air rushed into his lungs.

"This… where am I…?"

The sky above him was unfamiliar—dark purple, filled with glowing particles.

And in front of him—a blue screen appeared.

[Welcome, Host]

[You have obtained the Absolute Growth System]

Arjun stared at it. His expression slowly changed—from shock… to anger… to something far darker. His fists clenched.

"…I won't forgive them."

[Do you desire revenge?]

A cold smile appeared on his face.

"…Yes."
