Sitting on a bridge railing in a stormy night as I look to the distance lost in thought with lifeless eyes tired and exhausted.
'at the very least this should be a fine ending.... right!' was my last thought before leaning on towards the raging seas and winds as gravity took its course and I was falling fast but to someone tired of everything it was slow like a snail crawling.
' splash!' was the sound of water swallowing me before the sea took over tossing and turning dragging me all over as gravity continues it's pull on me though I don't fight back or struggle because I chose this end. Slowly closing my eyes!

I mentally stare at the message like some joke playing on me!
System something every awaken person on this planet has and a means to fight the creatures or monsters that invaded it a thousand years ago when humanity was reduced to 2% of its population but the system came and gave us a chance blah blah blah the rest is history cuz that so called threat was stopped and many things discovered thanks to the famous hero and people of his time.
Now days systems show up on different people and very few awaken. After the awakening one has the quality to enter the Starlight Academy the biggest one and most influence among the human race! Yes human race, Elves dwarves vampires wolves you name them exist and also another history years ago living together with us now.
Though most of the threat was stopped awaken people still are trained and prepared for battle plus the policy of no awaken should hide themselves unless they want capital punishment from the enforcers. Something else system's can't be hidden meaning the moment you have one you can't hide the name, maybe the uses or stats whatever but never the name or class.
So am very anger and furious now that such a thing has happened to me now of all times like the universe decided to just have a good laugh [Ding system has fully initiated.... I have been angry so much in my life it doesn't really feel like anger anymore just like drinking water from a cup or bottle of you know what I mean. [Ding detected that host life is fading!]

"Alright stand back, one two three clear!" I put my palms on the chest of the young man found drowning in the sea sending electric magic through him for the third time. His chest rises before he vomits all the water in him.
"Pants... cough .. cough!" Watching him breathe heavily and coughing as he sat up before I spoke "lucky you some more minutes down there and you've been dead!" I speak as I stand grabbing a towel throwing it on his head "dry up!"
He looks at me and the first thing I noticed were his soulless eyes, others may not know but being an awaken opens up a whole new world one can't imagine. They say the eye is the door to one's soul and usually they would be anger in some, pain, happiness, joy. Any emotion really but there are ones I have seen before with nothing just emptiness but I remember checking and am sure he is human!
"Where am I!" He asked as I was lost in thought "oh right this is Scarlett's place in this city, she's the one that dived down to get you!"
"I didn't need that!" He says though I can feel his anger and pain but very little almost none existent but am an experienced awakened and a sensor at that so I could tell.
"Well tell that to Scarlett when she comes back and you need to visit the association as per policies!" I speak as I stretch my arms " in case you are wondering am a sensor type so if someone awaken 100metres away from me in the water drowning with no training at all, might as well just stand in front of me!"
Remembering the basic traits of an awaken or something undergoing awakening their aura and power radiates causing fluctuations in the air though depending on the person and system they get. This idiot was literally among the strongest awakening I have ever since!...
Flashback yesterday....
Driving through the heavy rain when suddenly rain within some meters around the area evaporated and a dense thick heat and oppressive aura burst forth nearly crashing anything before stopping suddenly.
Being a sensor I nearly shouted "Scarlett below is in the sea someone is drowning and just had an awakening!" Scarlett opening the door jumped in causally the storm or strong winds pass her but she remains unmoved like the strong winds are just light air.
She enters the sea retrieving the boy before jumping from the water surface to the bridge in one leap and entering the back seat of the car, while driving off "let's get him to a hospital....!" I didn't finish my sentence when "No no he comes with us Rami!" Scarlett speaks but with a possessive tone making me glance by the rearview mirror.
I don't think I have ever seen my best friend like this forcing me to ask"are you okay, he was drowning one moment and you want to adapt him!" Looking at Scarlett who was brushing his hair softly and gently shocking me for a bit remembering her explosive nature and recklessness "you can't be serious!"
"His the one Rami, I can feel it!" Stunned I nearly crashed the car "you really want to adapt someone you just met!" This wasn't a question just confirmation before driving off
