Chapter 14 - Episode 14: “When Silence Turns Into Violence”

After staying…

everything should've become calmer.

But instead…

the world around them became sharper.

🌧️ Arjun – The Wrong Kind of Attention

Arjun Mehta noticed it first in small things.

Whispers that stopped when he passed.

Laughs that felt pointed.

Eyes that followed him longer than usual.

But today… it wasn't just whispers.

It was waiting.

🖤 The Corridor Incident

After class, Arjun walked alone through the corridor.

Empty. Long. Quiet.

Too quiet.

Then—

three students stepped in front of him.

Not random.

Intentional.

One of them smirked.

"So you're still here?"

Arjun didn't respond.

He tried to move aside.

But another blocked him.

🌧️ The First Push

"Rich people's toy is watching you, you know," one of them said.

Arjun's jaw tightened.

Still silent.

Then—

a push.

Hard enough to make him stumble back.

Laughter followed.

"Acting big now?" another mocked.

Arjun looked down for a second.

Then up again.

Calm.

But something inside him was cracking.

🖤 The Breaking Point Begins

"You think standing near her changes your status?" one sneered.

Arjun finally spoke.

"Move."

Just one word.

Low.

Controlled.

But it didn't help.

Instead—it made them laugh louder.

🌧️ Physical Escalation

The next moment—

he was shoved again.

Harder this time.

His shoulder hit the wall.

Books slipped from his hand.

Pages scattered.

One of them stepped closer.

"Poor guys like you should know your place."

That sentence… hit deeper than the push.

🖤 Anaya Arrives

"Enough."

A sharp voice cut through the corridor.

Anaya Verma stood there.

Face calm.

Eyes dangerous.

Everything stopped.

Even laughter.

🌸 The Power Shift

The boys froze.

Not because they respected Arjun.

But because they feared her.

One tried to speak:

"Anaya, we were just—"

"Leave," she said immediately.

Cold. Final. No room for explanation.

Silence.

Then slowly… they stepped back.

And left.

🌧️ Aftermath – Arjun's Silence

Arjun didn't move.

Didn't speak.

Didn't even look relieved.

He just stood there.

Breathing heavier than usual.

Anaya walked toward him.

"You okay?" she asked.

No answer.

🖤 The Emotional Collapse

Arjun finally bent down slowly and picked up his books.

His voice came low:

"I didn't need help."

Anaya frowned.

"I know."

Silence.

Then Arjun added:

"But I still got it anyway."

That line wasn't anger.

It was humiliation.

🌸 Anaya's Reaction

Anaya softened slightly.

"That wasn't about you needing help."

Arjun looked up.

Then what?

She paused.

Then quietly:

"It was about them going too far."

Silence.

🌧️ The Real Damage

Arjun's voice cracked slightly:

"They always go too far."

Pause.

Then softer:

"And I'm always the one in the middle of it."

Anaya didn't reply immediately.

Because she knew he was right.

🖤 The Dangerous Truth

Anaya stepped closer.

Lowered her voice.

"This won't stop unless you stop reacting to them."

Arjun gave a hollow laugh.

"So I should become invisible?"

Anaya replied:

"No."

Pause.

Then softer:

"You should stop letting them decide your value."

Silence.

🌸 The Emotional Distance Breaks

Arjun looked at her.

Long pause.

Then quietly:

"Why do you keep getting involved in my life?"

Anaya froze.

Because that question…

was becoming familiar.

Her answer came slower this time:

"Because I can't ignore it anymore."

Silence.

🌧️ The Almost Moment

They stood there.

Close.

Not touching.

But close enough to feel everything unsaid.

Arjun whispered:

"You make things worse… and better at the same time."

Anaya replied softly:

"That's not intentional."

A pause.

Then quieter:

"Neither is this."

Silence.

🖤 Night – Arjun

Arjun sat alone again.

Bruises faint.

Thoughts loud.

He whispered:

"I hate this place."

Pause.

Then softer:

"But I hate the silence more."

Because silence… now felt like absence of her.

🌸 Night – Anaya

Anaya stood by her window.

Hands clenched slightly.

She replayed the moment.

Him against the wall.

His silence.

His eyes.

And she whispered:

"I shouldn't care this much."

Pause.

Then softer:

"But I do."
