Chapter 1 - “Beyond the Black Door”

Since childhood, Naushad had heard a strange story from his grandfather—about the north room of their old zamindar house.

His grandfather would always warn him,"Never open that black door. It's not a door… it's a passage."

But as people grow older, fear fades.Naushad grew up in the city, and he didn't believe in such superstitions.

Years later, after his grandfather passed away, he returned to the village. The old mansion now belonged to him.

The house was enormous—long corridors, broken ceilings, and banyan roots wrapping around the walls like claws. But the north room felt… different.

The moment Naushad stood in front of it, a chill ran down his spine.

The door was completely black. No design, no handle—just an old lock in the middle.

That night, while trying to sleep, he heard a sound—

Knock… knock… knock…

Someone was knocking.

He sat up. The sound came again—

Knock… knock…

This time, it felt like it was coming from inside the house… from the north room.

He tried to calm himself—"Just rats… it's an old house…"

But the next night, it happened again. And the night after that…

It wasn't just knocking anymore—someone was crying.

"Let me out…"

Naushad's heart pounded.

He clearly heard a girl's voice.

"Please… let me out…"

The next morning, he went to an old villager, Kashem Chacha.

After hearing everything, the old man fell silent. Then he said slowly—

"Your great-grandfather locked a girl in that room. She was from the zamindar family… but something had entered her."

"What do you mean?" Naushad asked.

Kashem Chacha whispered—"Something… not human."

Naushad laughed it off.

But that night, the sound returned.

This time, the door wasn't just being knocked—it was shaking violently.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

"Open it… I've been waiting for so many years…"

Naushad couldn't think straight anymore.

He grabbed a lantern and stood in front of the north room.

The lock… opened by itself.

Click.

The door slowly creaked open.

Inside—complete darkness.

A cold wind brushed against his face, as if the room was much bigger than it should be.

"Come…"—a soft voice called.

Naushad stepped inside.

Suddenly—

BAM!

The door slammed shut behind him.

He turned back—

There was no door anymore.

Only darkness.

Then he saw her.

A girl standing ahead—white dress, long hair.

"You freed me…" she smiled.

Naushad felt a brief sense of relief."You… you were trapped here?"

The girl slowly raised her head.

Her eyes… completely black.

Her smile twisted into something inhuman.

"Yes… and now you will take my place…"

Suddenly, thousands of voices screamed around him—

"NOOOOO!!!"

Naushad tried to run, but his legs wouldn't move.

The girl stepped closer and whispered—

"The door is never truly closed… it only waits… for someone to open it…"

The next morning, villagers came to the mansion.

The north room door was open.

Inside—no one.

Only a fresh scratch on the wall that read:

"Let me out…"

And beside the door—

A shadow stood still.

With completely black eyes.
