CULTIVATION REALMS
Each realm is divided into 9 levels (1 = lowest, 9 = peak)
1. Body Refinement
The "mortal foundation" stage, where cultivators strengthen their physical form through rigorous exercise, body techniques, and basic breathing methods. This process includes three key phases:
- Bone Strengthening
- Muscle Training
- Skin Tempering
Practitioners purge bodily impurities, often visible as dark "black sweat" during training.
2. Qi Refining
Cultivators begin drawing in and absorbing "Spiritual Energy (Qi)" from the natural world, storing it in a specialized organ in the right chest known as the Second Heart or Qi Heart. At this stage, strength and lifespan surpass normal human limits.
3. Foundation Establishment
Gaseous Qi is condensed into liquid form, and permanent meridian pathways are carved throughout the body to channel higher levels of power. Cultivators typically gain the ability to fly using magical artifacts.
4. Core Formation
Liquid Qi is compressed into a solid Core Heart within the right chest—acting as an eternal energy source. Practitioners become immune to all sickness, with lifespans extended to several centuries.
5. Nascent Soul
The Core Heart is intentionally shattered to birth a Nascent Soul—a miniature spiritual replica of the cultivator. This grants resilience beyond physical form; even if the body is destroyed, the soul can survive and seek rebirth or a new vessel.
6. Deity Transformation
Cultivators shift their focus from physical power to spiritual comprehension, studying the Dao (Laws of Nature). Many can project a personal Domain—a space where they exert direct control over the environment.
7. Void Refinement
The Nascent Soul merges with the cosmic void, unlocking spatial abilities such as teleportation, creating pocket dimensions, and manipulating space-time itself.
8. Body Unity
The Nascent Soul and physical body fully integrate into a single, perfect entity. Cultivators at this stage are considered Half-Step Immortals, with power that bridges the mortal and divine planes.
9. Grand Ascension
The final mortal trial, where cultivators must endure and survive Heavenly Tribulations—usually devastating bolts of lightning—that test their worthiness to transcend the mortal realm.
10. Divine God
Having successfully ascended, cultivators become True Gods or Immortal Emperors. They gain eternal life, the ability to create worlds, and mastery over the fundamental laws that govern the universe.
