Chapter 1 - Episode 1: He Ignored Her… to Protect Her From His Mafia World

The city never slept.

Rain poured heavily over empty streets, turning the world into a blur of lights and shadows. Every sound echoed like a warning… every corner felt unsafe.

In that world of danger and control, one man ruled without mercy.

Kabir Rajvansh.

A mafia boss feared by everyone. A name spoken only in whispers.

Cold. Ruthless. Untouchable.

People believed he had no heart.

But the truth was… he had one.

And it was the reason he kept her away.

Far from his dark world lived a girl named Meera Verma.

Simple. Poor. Struggling every day just to survive.

She worked small jobs, studied at night, and carried responsibilities far heavier than her age.

Life never spared her pain.

But still… she smiled.

Because deep inside, she had something she never told anyone.

A name she couldn't forget.

Kabir Rajvansh.

A man she had never truly met… but had already given her heart to.

That night, everything changed.

Meera was walking home alone when the rain grew stronger. The streets were empty, and silence felt heavy.

Then she stopped.

A black car stood in the middle of the road.

Men in black suits surrounded it. Their presence was dangerous—trained, silent, deadly.

Her heart told her to run.

But her eyes… refused.

Because through the half-open window, she saw him.

A man sitting inside the car—injured, blood on his forehead, yet sitting with terrifying calm.

Their eyes met.

And in that moment… everything stopped.

Meera's breath caught.

She didn't know who he was…

But her heart did.

It reacted like it had finally found something it had been searching for.

"Boss… someone saw us," one of the men said urgently.

The atmosphere changed instantly.

Kabir slowly lifted his gaze again.

This time, it landed directly on Meera.

A witness.

A risk.

A danger.

Normally, there would be no hesitation.

No second chance.

Only silence… after death.

But Kabir didn't move.

He just looked at her.

Like something inside him was fighting a war no one could see.

Then—

"Let her go," he said coldly.

The men froze.

"Boss, she saw everything—"

"I said… let her go."

His voice was quiet.

But final.

Like a death sentence that had been reversed.

The men stepped aside.

Meera stood frozen in the rain, confused, shaken, her heart beating uncontrollably.

Why was she still alive?

Why did he spare her?

She looked at him one last time.

Searching for answers.

But Kabir had already turned away.

As if she meant nothing.

As if she was nothing.

But inside the car…

Kabir clenched his fists tightly.

Because for the first time in his life…

he broke his own rule.

He didn't eliminate a threat.

He protected it.

And that girl…

without knowing it…

had already entered a world he swore she would never survive.

A world he was trying to keep her away from…

even if it meant destroying himself in the process.

To be continued… 💔
