Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Structural Collapse

The Troll bellowed once more, a deafening roar that shook the canopy. Massive, highly condensed surges of orange mana gathered violently around its raised, boulder-like fist. It wasn't prepping a standard physical strike; it was charging an 'Earth Detonation'—a localized Area of Effect (AoE) attack designed to reduce the entire grid to pulverized dust.

"Calculating effective blast radius... 15 meters. Kinetic propagation speed... 0.8 seconds," I murmured.

I retreated with hyper-calculated, measured steps, my [Analytical Vision] furiously tracking the explosive energy flow within the beast's rocky veins.

The Troll slammed its colossal fist into the earth.

The ground instantly detonated. Soil, roots, and jagged stone shrapnel exploded outward like heavy artillery fire. But I was already in motion. I violently threw myself behind a massive, dense boulder I had pre-selected as a structural anchor point, letting the devastating kinetic shockwave completely bypass my coordinates.

"Timing optimal."

Utilizing the dense, blinding cloud of pulverized rock as cover, I silently slipped behind the Troll as it struggled to recalibrate its massive center of gravity. I didn't bother trying to stab it; my steel dagger would simply shatter against its impenetrable hide. Instead, my analytical gaze locked onto the surrounding 'Thunder Trees'—exotic flora known for storing highly volatile ambient mana deep within their root systems.

"Activating [Sequential Cancellation] on Root Node #4!"

I fired a precise, microscopic pulse of mana, deliberately severing the magical binding that safely contained the tree's stored energy underground.

Instantly, violent arcs of blue electricity erupted from the earth directly beneath the Troll's feet. The sudden, intense voltage violently short-circuited the beast's crude nervous system, paralyzing its massive frame in place for three crucial seconds.

I didn't hesitate. I vaulted off a jagged rock, launching myself directly onto the beast's massive shoulder. I slammed my bare, gloveless palm onto the exact structural joint connecting its heavy stone skull to its cervical spine.

"If you lack a structural flaw," I whispered coldly, blood beginning to drip from my nose as the mental strain peaked, "I will surgically manufacture one myself."

I funneled every last drop of my remaining mana into my palm. I unleashed [Sequential Cancellation] directly into the atomic resonance—the very geometric equation—that bound the stone molecules together.

A blinding migraine tore through my skull. A cold stream of blood slid down my chin from the sheer cognitive overload, but I did not stop.

K-K-K-KRACK!

A deafening fracture echoed through the clearing. A massive spiderweb of jagged, glowing cracks violently expanded from beneath my palm, completely shattering the Troll's armored neck. Stripped of its structural integrity, the towering Tier-3 beast instantly collapsed into a lifeless, crumbling mound of ordinary rubble.

I plummeted to the dirt alongside it, my chest heaving violently. My entire body trembled from extreme physical and mental exhaustion. My mana reserves had hit absolute zero, and my vision was dangerously flickering into darkness.

I forcefully dragged my battered body up and limped toward the cavern entrance. A heavy, profound silence hung in the air, broken only by my ragged breathing. I was entirely alone in the untamed wilderness.

Deep within the damp, shadowed recesses of the cave, resting atop a naturally formed stone pedestal, was a small glass vial. The Celestial Cleansing Elixir. It radiated a pure, mesmerizing azure light, illuminating the dark rock walls.

With a trembling, bloodstained hand, I grabbed the vial and popped the cork. A crisp, revitalizing scent wafted out, immediately soothing the chaotic static in my mind. Without a single microsecond of hesitation, I downed the glowing liquid in one fluid gulp.

"Now then," I rasped, wiping the azure residue from my lips. "Let us completely reprogram this garbage vessel."

I closed my eyes as a searing, brilliant blue radiance violently erupted through my veins. A terrifyingly sharp agony flared across my carbonized mana pathways, violently signaling the initiation of the grand architectural reconstruction.
