Chapter 138 - The Last Supper

Third Person POV

"Mugen-jō: Dankai" Infinity Castle: Severed Realm, she screamed.

Thousands of wooden doors materialized in a shifting sphere around them, spatially separating the two from the fabric of reality itself. The temporal beam slammed into the spatial fortress. Now that Nakime wasn't leaking most of her power holding the Infinity Castle as a Secure bunker for the 8.3 billion humans, her upgraded powers were now showing their full potential on display.

The wood instantly rotted, turned to dust, and rebuilt itself in a microsecond loop. Nakime was burning through her newly perfected demonic stamina to literally out-heal the erasure of time, holding the dimensional lock with defiance.

"Keep him busy!" John roared through the blood filling his mouth, pouring every last ounce of his soul into the tether.

Seeing its assassination attempt didn't turn out to be an instant success against Nakime's defense, the Entity turned its focus back to the charging Omnipotus.

Instead of attacking the shadow, the Entity started destroying the worlds around him.

The blue tentacles lashed out, tearing into the fabric of reality itself. Above the Earth, entire alternate dimensions began to visibly collapse. The sky fractured like a broken windshield, revealing swirling galaxies being actively erased from the multiverse. The Entity was sacrificing entire timelines to create unstable temporal bombs, throwing the collapsing realities directly at Omnipotus to crush him under the weight of dead universes.

Omnipotus welcomed it by opening his mouth.

He started eating the collapsing worlds. He was absorbing their energy by physically devouring the dimensions. As the Entity threw a shattered universe, Omnipotus unhinged his jaw and swallowed the collapsing reality whole.

The crunch of bending black holes and shattering planets echoed through the rift.

The more the Entity destroyed, the more food it gave him.

"IMPOSSIBLE!" the Entity shrieked. It threw more dying timelines at the titan. One was a universe made entirely of frozen oceans. Another was a barren wasteland of red sand.

Omnipotus ate through them. He tore ragged holes through the dimensions like they were wet paper, drank the frozen ocean like a slushie and swallowed the desert reality like a handful of dry crackers.

This was his original nature. This was why I kept him benched. He was a World-Shaper built for cosmic battles. It would have been overkill to use him for menial threats like Thragg.

The Entity, realizing it was fueling its own predator, began to retreat. It pulled its tentacles back, tearing open spatial rifts. It fled backward through its own collapsing timelines, trying to put multiversal distance between itself and the shadow.

Omnipotus followed, munching his way through.

Every single alternate reality the Entity tried to hide inside, Omnipotus tore open and turned into another meal. He was walking through an apocalypse, eating his way toward the squid.

The Entity got desperate.

It began sacrificing healthy timelines. It threw billions of lives and alternate Earths directly into Omnipotus's path just to slow him down.

Down on the ground, Nakime saw what was happening. She didn't have the raw power to fight a cosmic god, but she was a master of spatial manipulation. And she was not about to let my magic go to waste on a wild goose chase.

"If it runs through space," Nakime said, raising her biwa pick. "I'll give you the road."

Nakime actively used the Infinity Castle to map the collapsing multiverse. Instead of fighting the Entity, she started opening cascading dimensional pathways directly in front of Omnipotus. As the Entity tore a rift to hide, Nakime strummed her instrument. She forced a wooden, interdimensional highway to physically bridge the gap, giving the titan a direct shortcut.

Omnipotus used her wooden platforms to launch himself through a collapsing galaxy, bypassing the temporal traps the Entity was leaving behind.

Nakime smirked, her whips spinning lazily around us. "Nobody runs from Chaos Corp."

'Master,' a voice suddenly echoed in John's head. It was Meruem. 'Seeing you struggling, I took it upon myself and eat a piece of the wildlife's tentacle and now I can certainly say the entity is not actually one singular creature.'

John gritted his teeth. The physical toll of the depleting mana was making his vision swim. 'What do you mean, you ate its tentacle? Sigh... leave it and give me the details.'

'Its physical form is spread across countless realities and timelines simultaneously,' Meruem explained. 'Killing one manifestation, even the one in our moon, does nothing. It is merely an appendage. A finger perhaps. Do not aim for the limbs, Master. The heart is what we must find.'

John blinked. The sweat in his eyes stung.

Looking up at the sky, he saw the tentacles thrashing in our orbit were just 'digits'. The Entity running away was like a distraction of sorts and it was using the timelines as a shield to protect its real body.

'Hey Mini Galactus!' John yelled through the link. 'Stop chasing the tentacles! Look deeper! Find the core, I promise you it will taste even better!'

Omnipotus paused his dimension-eating spree. His purple eyes narrowed as he peered through the shattered rifts in reality that Nakime had propped open.

Deep within the rotting center of the multiverse, hidden behind infinite layers of sacrificed timelines, was the Entity's original realm. A churning nexus of pure temporal energy. The Entity had been using the countless timelines as a cosmic nervous system to feed its own power.

Omnipotus looked at the core realm, and he understood.

He didn't see a god threatening to end his master. He couldn't possibly be that selfless.

What he saw was the biggest meal he had ever encountered.

Omnipotus surged forward. He ignored the collapsing dimensions around him and dove straight for the core.

The Entity realized it was exposed. It panicked, but quickly adapted. A cosmic intellect processing infinite timelines in a microsecond realized it couldn't win a brawl.

The Entity folded the timeline entirely, trapping Omnipotus in a highly compressed pocket of the Heat Death of the Universe. Absolute zero. Total entropy. A void where no matter, no light, and no energy existed to be consumed. It was the perfect cosmic cage, a reality designed specifically to starve a Devourer to death.

Omnipotus floated in the pitch-black void of absolute nothingness. He was completely isolated. The Entity's voice echoed from everywhere and nowhere.

"STARVE IN THE INEVITABLE END."

For a second, the tether connecting us flickered violently. My heart stopped. My gamer brain froze. If there is literally zero matter and zero energy... if there is absolutely nothing to eat... what does Hunger do?

But then, through the link, I felt it. Omnipotus wasn't scared.

He was laughing.

"YOU FOOL," the titan's voice reverberated, cracking the very concept of the void. "ENTROPY IS JUST ANOTHER FLAVOR!"

He unhinged his jaw to impossible proportions and inhaled.

He ate the nothingness. He consumed the void itself. The absolute zero temperature, the lack of energy, the cosmic silence; he swallowed it all. He even weaponized his own conceptual existence, tearing a massive, ragged hole right through the Heat Death of the Universe and bursting back into the Entity's core realm.

The Entity was completely out of options. Its logic circuits had no solutions.

Omnipotus plunged his battered hands directly into the swirling nexus of the Entity's original realm. He grabbed the true, central mass of the cosmic being. The blue light flared, screaming in a frequency that shattered glass back on Earth.

"I AM THE END OF ALL THINGS!" the Entity screamed. The psychic wail made the multiverse itself shudder.

Omnipotus simply glared down at the struggling light.

"Then you should know what comes after," the titan rumbled.

John fell forward, his hands hitting the dirt.

His magical core was tapped, he couldn't even feel my fingers. His vision was blurring, ears were ringing, and could barely keep his head up. Nakime caught my shoulders, holding him steady.

'Omnipotus,' John whispered, his voice barely carried over the wind, but it echoed through the shadow link.

High above, standing at the center of the multiverse, the battered titan looked back down at Earth. He looked at John. His eyes acknowledged the command.

'Feed.'

In a show of body horror, he unhinged his jaw to impossible proportions and began to devour the Entity's entire realm.

The Entity fought back with everything it had. It desperately rewound time, trying to undo the bite. It violently accelerated, trying to age out of his grip. It frantically split timelines, creating thousands of new, desperate realities to try and escape the maw.

Omnipotus just kept eating.

World after world, timeline after timeline, disappeared into the endless, starving void of his stomach. The blue light of the Entity was slowly, methodically being chewed to pieces and swallowed. The cosmic being that had manipulated this entire universe's canon history was being treated like an all-you-can-eat buffet.

John watched the sky, fighting to keep his eyes open to burn the final image into his retinas forever.

The Entity, the great god of time, was reduced to its last remaining fragment. A small, pulsing ball of blue light, desperately clinging to existence.

Omnipotus held it in one enormous hand. He brought it up to his face.

"You… cannot…. consume…. Time…." the Entity whispered. The final, pathetic plea echoed across the dying timelines.

Omnipotus just stared at the glowing orb. His stomach rumbled with the force of an earthquake.

"I don't need to."

CHOMP.

The sky went dark.

The brilliant blue light vanished, swallowed whole by the Devourer. The temporal storms raging across the planet instantly ceased. The reversed gravity settled. The metallic taste in the air vanished. The timeline snapped back into place like a stretched rubber band finally finding its resting state.

The silence that followed was heavier than the noise.

Up in space, the remnants of the Coalition and Viltrumite fleets just floated there, completely stunned.

Omnipotus stood in the vacuum of space for a long moment. He patted his massive stomach letting out a cosmic burp that rippled the atmosphere, creating a minor aurora borealis over the Dakotas.

"A SATISFYING MEAL," Omnipotus declared. He looked down at the Earth, his glowing eyes finding me in the crater. "MY HUNGER IS QUENCHED... FOR NOW."

John didn't even have the energy to give him a thumbs up.

'Good boy,' he wheezed, letting his head loll back against Nakime's shoulder.
