The beach had become an arena.

Takeru and the god-guy stood several yards apart, both breathing steadily.
The young man rolled his shoulders.

Takeru grinned.

He raised one fist.

He leaned forward.

He suddenly charged.

Takeru's fist slammed directly into the god-guy's guard.
The impact sent a shockwave across the beach.
The young man slid backward.

Takeru grinned.
"No."
His cursed energy surged.
"That's just a punch."
The god-guy smiled.
"Then let's stop holding back."
His own cursed energy erupted.
The pressure was immediate.
Everyone on the beach felt it.
Yuji took a step back.

Both Gojo's focused their Six Eyes on the two fighters.
"His cursed energy is enormous."
Maki narrowed her eyes.
"And Takeru's isn't slowing down."
The god-guy suddenly raised his hand.
A strange distortion formed around him.
Takeru's eyes widened.
"Technique?"
The young man smiled.
"Technique."
The space around his fist warped.
He launched forward.

Takeru blocked.
The force pushed him several feet backward.
Takeru grinned.
"Okay!"
He raised his hand.
"Then I'll use mine too."
Cursed energy exploded around Takeru.
The air distorted.
The young man rushed him.
Takeru rushed back.

Their techniques collided.
The beach shook.
Takeru threw a punch.
The god-guy dodged.
The young man countered with a kick.
Takeru blocked.
Takeru spun and attacked again.
The young man caught his arm.
Takeru twisted free.

Another collision.

Another.
The two continued exchanging blows, cursed techniques flashing between them.
Neither gave ground.
Neither backed down.
Yuji stared.
"They're still going?"
Nanami adjusted his tie.
"Yes."
Takaba grinned.
"This is awesome."
Kenjaku watched silently.
Then Takeru and the god-guy separated again.
Both smiled.
Takeru wiped some sand from his cheek.
"You know…"
The god-guy nodded.
"Yeah?"
Takeru grinned.
"This is actually pretty fun."
The god-guy laughed.
"Same."
Their cursed energy surged again.
And the fight continued.
