The three finally reached the mall.
Takeru stopped outside the entrance.
He looked up.
And up.
And up.
"…Okay."
Yuji followed his gaze.
"It's huge."
The mall had four floors, enormous glass windows, countless stores, restaurants, clothing shops, electronics, arcades, and enough people wandering around to make the place feel like its own little city.
Nobara's eyes immediately lit up.
"Oh, we're going to have fun."
Takeru grinned.
"Absolutely."
They walked inside.
The enormous atrium opened above them, with escalators connecting all four floors.
Takeru suddenly stopped.
He reached into his pocket.
"Before we start…"
He pulled out a sleek black card.
Nobara immediately recognized it.
"Wait."
Takeru held it up.
"Get as much as you need."
He smiled.
"I have the Black Gojo Card."
Yuji blinked.
"The what?"
Takeru pointed at it.
"Black Gojo Card."
Nobara stared.
"Is that…"
"Yep."
"Like Gojo's?"
"Exactly like Gojo's."
Nobara's eyes widened.
"When I go to the mall, Gojo usually gives me his."
Takeru nodded.
"And this one?"
He dramatically flipped the card between his fingers.
"Unlimited money."
Yuji nearly choked.
"UNLIMITED?!"
Takeru nodded.
"Unlimited."
Nobara stared at the card.
Then at Takeru.
Then back at the card.
"So you're telling me…"
She slowly smiled.
"…we can actually buy whatever we want?"
Takeru grinned.
"Yep."
Nobara immediately grabbed Takeru by the shoulders.
"LET'S GO."
Yuji laughed.
"I knew this was going to happen."
Takeru pointed toward the escalators.
"Four floors."
Nobara cracked her knuckles.
"Four floors."
Yuji sighed.
"I have a feeling we're going to be here all day."
Takeru smiled.
"That's the plan."
They stepped onto the escalator.
Nobara looked toward the first floor.
"Clothes first."
Yuji raised a hand.
"Food."
Takeru thought for a second.
"Both."
Nobara nodded.
"Good answer."
As they rose toward the second floor, Takeru held up the black card.
"Remember."
Yuji looked at him.
"What?"
Takeru grinned.
"Unlimited."
Nobara's smile grew even wider.
"Oh, this is dangerous."
Yuji laughed.
"Extremely."
And with that, the three began their shopping spree.
The Black Gojo Card was about to experience things its creators probably never intended.
