In a scenic jungle, a hundred flowers bloomed in a riot of color. A gentle spring breeze brushed over the forest meadow, and warm sunlight filtered through the gaps in the canopy, spilling onto Rin's face as she sat lazily on the grass. Everything was so peaceful and serene.
A tiny magpie landed on Rin's shoulder, curiously eyeing her cheek. It then took a few small hops closer to her face, tilting its neck to gently nudge her cheek.
Rin reached out, letting the little magpie hop onto her index finger. She brought the bird before her eyes and gently blew a breath of air toward it.
The tiny magpie was instantly surrounded by the glow of magical energy. It soared into the sky from Rin's finger, letting out a melodious chirp as if expressing its gratitude.
"You certainly have a lot of leisure time!"
Along with those words, Touko walked lazily out of the forest and lay down on the grass beside Rin, looking up through the canopy at the magpie flying happily in the sky.
A faint smile played on Rin's face as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"I didn't expect some animals to survive in Tokyo after such a great disaster. It's thanks to them that there's a spark of vitality in this world."
"A Missy is indeed a Missy. The mana you just consumed to transform that magpie into a Phantasmal Species was enough for an average Servant to release a Noble Phantasm!"
"What does it matter? Anyway, isn't mana something I have as much of as I want?"
As she spoke, Rin raised her left hand, simultaneously activating the dragon factor within it. A massive amount of liquid-like mana swirled around her arm, displaying her current unfathomable magical power.
Touko ignored Rin's boastful display of mana. She simply reached into her pocket, pulled out a cigarette, expertly placed it in her mouth and lit it, then spoke after exhaling a puff of smoke.
"Rin, how much stronger have you become now?"
As the creator and owner of this world, Rin—who was equivalent to a Creator God here—had naturally been strengthened by the world's expansion.
"Not by much. Although my mana has increased several times over, my essence remains unchanged. This world isn't perfect yet. How should I put it..."
At that moment, a female voice came from the nearby woods, picking up where Rin left off.
"Schrödinger's cat. This world currently can only exist in Imaginary Space, within the concept of existing if observed and not existing if not."
Da Vinci, dressed in casual clothes, brushed aside some branches and came to Rin and Touko's side. She casually tossed a document on the ground to use as a cushion and sat down.
"Da Vinci! You didn't go to the beach with the others?"
Da Vinci enjoyed the oncoming breeze and gently shook her head.
"No, an old fossil like me isn't suited for the relaxation methods of those youngsters."
As she spoke, Da Vinci gave Rin a look that was half-smiling and half-not.
"Are you implying that I'm an old fossil too?"
Seeing Rin's feigned indignation, Da Vinci giggled and threw an arm around Rin's neck.
"Of course!"
Rin nimbly slipped out of Da Vinci's embrace, then stood up and brushed the grass clippings off her clothes, turning to walk toward Chaldea.
"I'm still a young person, so I'm going to find Sakura and Fujino over here!"
Watching Rin's departing figure, Touko and Da Vinci glanced at each other and then burst into laughter together.
"Hahahaha..."
Unlike the previous quiet forest, the seaside was currently bustling with activity.
"Big guy, over here!"
Mordred, who had just finished changing and was in the shade at the edge of the beach, had one arm around a shy Lily while the other hand waved frantically at the King of Conquerors, who had just changed into swim trunks and was showing off his massive muscles.
Lily, wearing a bikini, tried to deal with Mordred's constant tugging while covering herself up, her face flushed as she whispered protests to Mordred.
Walking over to Mordred's side, the King of Conquerors saw Lily's bashful behavior and laughed, slapping her on the shoulder.
"Lily! A king must open their heart and display themselves to their subjects!"
As he spoke, the King of Conquerors struck several bodybuilding poses, his muscles twitching and rippling. A glint of envy appeared in Mordred's eyes, and she unconsciously reached out to squeeze the King of Conquerors' biceps.
"Lily, look, Mordred understands! Hahahahaha."
"Right! Father, you should also show off your broad-mindedness; it'll definitely be stronger than this big guy's!"
With that, Mordred gave Lily a push, sending her out of the shade and onto the sun-drenched beach.
Pushed onto the beach, Lily let out a bashful cry, which immediately drew the attention of many people on the sand.
Lily's former Master, Shinji Matou, gave a boisterous laugh and gave Lily a thumbs-up as he shouted.
"Lily! Looking great!"
"Ugh!"
Being watched by so many people, Lily bashfully covered her face and quickly squatted down. Her head began to emit unscientifically visible steam, and her Ahoge quickly wilted. Her bashful appearance drew a round of good-natured laughter from the beach.
Lying on a beach chair, Irisviel looked at Kiritsugu sitting beside her and asked.
"Kiritsugu, what happened?"
Kiritsugu, who had been focused on watching Illya play in the sea, was slightly startled. He then turned and gave Irisviel a gentle smile.
"Illya has learned how to swim!"
Irisviel was stunned for a moment, then she turned her face away and covered her mouth as she giggled, leaving Kiritsugu puzzled and confused.
"What is it, Iri?"
Irisviel rubbed her cheeks, hiding her mischievous smile. She stood up gracefully from the beach chair and sat affectionately on Kiritsugu's lap, hugging him and saying tenderly.
"It's nothing, Kiritsugu. Everything is just so wonderful!"
Still confused, Kiritsugu didn't understand why Irisviel said that, but he still gently placed his left hand over hers as they wrapped around his neck. Looking at Illya, who was playing with Chloe in the ocean with a lifebuoy, he said softly.
"Yeah! It really is!"
However, not everyone on the beach was enjoying the rare relaxation. At this moment, Shirou Kotomine was having a rough time.
"Shirou! Quick, quick, attack me!"
Taiga, in a swimsuit, was triumphantly holding a long wooden pole as a spear, constantly twirling it and taunting the Shirou in front of her.
Beside them, Caren, who had wanted to intervene, now had a sour expression as she dodged a casual punch from Kirei.
"Kirei! Are you serious?!"
Kirei Kotomine placed one hand before his chest in a Buddhist greeting and nodded to Caren with his usual deadpan face.
"I heard from Taiga that you and Shirou have been very slack lately, so today I've come to examine you."
At that moment, Taiga stopped twirling her spear and gave Caren and Shirou a thumbs-up, saying with a devious grin.
"Shirou, Caren, I was the one who suggested this to Master! Hurry up and attack, let your senior sister see your progress!"
Now understanding the situation, Caren couldn't help but facepalm and looked at Kirei in disbelief.
'Has Kirei gone stupid from studying Buddhism? To actually agree to Taiga's request...!'
