I heard her words and thought about it, and after several minutes I said, "I can agree about myself, but I need to ask Yuki, and even if she agreed, we need to secure a place for those children. I am sure Yuki is not going to abandon them."
Hearing this, she smiled and said, "Don't worry about it. Those children also had some talent in them; I can see. If they work diligently, then they can also be accepted as disciples; till then, they can live with you. My master will happily give you more than a whole mountain for living."
Saying this, she stood up while I also went out, as I needed to ask Yuki about her decision.
Outside the house, I found Yuki who is playing with Children in the shade of a tree, where we usually train. Seeing her laughing and playing with children, I felt warmth in my heart. I think I need to protect Yuki's smile.
Reaching her, I smiled and said, "Yuki, I need to talk about something, so can you come with me for a minute? Please send those children to the hut; I am sure Grandma Rose will be more than happy to play with them."
She nodded, and all the children went towards Grandma Rose, who happily waved at them. After that, I talked with Yuki about Grandma Rose's offer. After hearing all of my explanation, she said, "I think it is best to go with Grandma Rose's offer; she is right, we need a backer to have a safe life in this world. There is an old saying which my grandfather used to tell me, 'A talent without backing is just an easy target'. If Grandma Rose could provide us shelter or admit us, including those children, to a prestigious university or sect, then will not have to worry about our enemies for the time being."
Hearing her words, I also understand her concerns; currently, rather than any familial love or anything, she took survival as the main priority. Having her whole family murdered, I can't imagine how much trauma she carried in her heart, but seeing her saying all these words with a resolute face, I felt bad.
I can't see, but I am sure she had an urge to cry when talking about her grandfather; she is someone I have never seen cry even once. Despite being the same age as me, she acts like a mature person, so I raised my hands and gently hugged her.
She yelped in a cute voice as she got surprised by my sudden action, but gently patting her back, I said, "Yuki, I know you don't like to cry, especially after suffering so much, but I just want to say that you don't have to hold so much inside your heart. Please, cry if you feel like crying; now I am here, and things will go back to normal soon."
After saying this, I kept hugging her while patting her. Soon, she started crying; first it was small muffled cries, but soon she started crying her heart out.
I only released the hug after she stopped crying. After that, she wiped her tears and looked at me with a beaming smile and said, "Ryuk, you are a very kind person."
Saying this, she blushed and ran back towards the hut, towards Grandma Rose and the children. I also went after her as I needed to tell Grandma Rose my answer about her offer, but I stopped in the middle of my tracks, as a new system notification popped up.

Another one of my system quests is completed, but seeing that I gained a loyal follower. I think the system must be talking about Yuki. I know that girl trusts me, but I didn't know that she is willing to die for me. This reality hit me like a punch, as fulling someone's trust or belief is another level of weight, which I think I am not able to handle now, but nonetheless, as the system said, Yuki believes in me.
Intending to get the system reward later, I went into the hut, where Grandma Rose, Yuki, and all the children were already waiting for me. Seeing Grandma Rose, I took a deep breath and said, "Grandma Rose, we accepted your offer."
She smiled and nodded, then said that she needed to open the bakery, so she went out. Before leaving, she told me that one of her senior brothers or sisters would come in one or two days after she called them, so she told me to be prepared for leaving, as it could be tomorrow when we need to leave.
After Grandma Rose left, I looked at those children, as all of them, especially Kevin, were looking at me with confusion and a hint of excitement; they must be thinking that we are going to meet their parents, as for them all of this a academy test.
So, without denying their imagination, I said, "Everyone, congratulations; all of you passed the test. Now, either tomorrow or the day after that, we will leave this place and reach our main academy."
Hearing this, all of them shouted with the voice of Yay! Some of them even had a few tears in their eyes. But most of them were happy; in their happiness, they went out to play more, with me and Yuki joining them.
Soon it reached the time of going to the bakery as Grandma Rose came early in the morning. So, leaving them, I headed towards the bakery, but as I was walking towards the bakery, another system notification popped up in front of me.

Seeing two quests completed, I felt a surge of joy inside me. Now I have a total of two rewards pending. So after reaching the bakery and working for the whole day, I came back to my home. All of them are excited about their upcoming journey, but I told them that we won't be leaving until tomorrow or the day after, as Grandma Rose's senior is yet to arrive.
After everyone went to sleep, I went outside like usual to train. But this time, before I started training, I asked the system to show my first reward for the fourth quest, as I remember that it said something about giving a reward once I complete that quest.
