The next morning.
Zane Hawthorne had just arrived at the company when Jasper Hawthorne stormed in right after him.
「The top-floor CEO's office.」
Zane Hawthorne was listening to Mr. Vance go over the day's schedule when a sudden commotion erupted outside the door.
Jasper Hawthorne had a loud voice. Mr. Vance recognized it immediately, his brow furrowing in disapproval.
'What is the security on this floor even doing?'
"I'll go out and..."
Mr. Vance closed his tablet. Before he could finish his sentence, he heard Zane Hawthorne say flatly, "Let him in."
"..." Mr. Vance froze for a moment. He quickly processed the order and, after a brief hesitation, told Lawson and the others to let the man through.
The heavy door was thrown open, and Jasper Hawthorne strode to the desk in a few short steps.
He looked livid. Mr. Vance gestured to Lawson on the other side of the room to keep a close watch on him, in case he tried anything rash.
