The Thorne Estate
Silas Thorne had been watching his older brother for a while now. Jonathan rarely kept his phone glued to his hand like this. Today was an exception; while sipping his tea, he glanced at his phone almost every three to five minutes.
When Jonathan broke into a silly grin, Kiara Sutton nudged her husband's arm. "Did you see that?"
Cameron Thorne nodded. "Is that my son?"
"Don't tell me the kid's fallen in love!"
"I don't know about love, but he definitely didn't sleep last night."
Jonathan Thorne's face showed clear signs of fatigue, as if he hadn't slept a wink, yet his spirits were remarkably high. They hadn't even seen him this happy when he got promoted.
After a quick, silent consensus, the Thorne family all turned to look at Silas Thorne, silently nominating him to probe for information.
