Jason Forrester felt there was nothing more to be said. Continuing to talk would only make things more difficult to resolve. It was better to just accept the situation and think about the final outcome.

Besides, no amount of talk would do any good at this point.

The two of them decided to head back. There really wasn't anything else to discuss.

It was pointless to bring it up again.

Megan Kane was clearly annoyed, but she didn't voice any further opinions on the matter, appearing rather calm instead.

'After all, the most important thing is to find a solution to this whole mess. Everything else seems trivial in comparison.'

'Since it's not that big of a deal, there's no need to overthink it. I'll just wait and see how things turn out on their own.'

Besides, going around in circles talking about it wouldn't help.

'If this situation can resolve itself, the outcome will surely be better. There's no need to dwell on it. Continuing to do so will only make things more awkward.'
