"An envoy mission?"
Su Mu and the others all looked confused.
"What envoy mission? And why me?"
Su Mu voiced two questions.
"Early this morning, Hujue Pass received a message from the imperial court via Profound Eagle."
The Governor surnamed Li said, "It says the imperial court is sending an envoy mission to the Demon Court. They have appointed you, Captain Su, as the Vice Envoy, and ordered you to wait here at Hujue Pass for the mission to arrive. You are then to accompany them out of the pass."
An expression of surprise appeared on Su Mu's face.
He had heard of Profound Eagles before.
They were a type of demon beast that could fly at incredible speeds.
Li Tingkui had previously mentioned that some people in the Da Xuan Dynasty liked to tame Demon Pets, and the Profound Eagle was one such type tamed by the Da Xuan Dynasty.
However, Profound Eagles were extremely difficult to tame. Even the Da Xuan Dynasty only possessed a handful of them.
