"Don't bother chasing him," Black Demon said, his gaze fixed on the horizon. "He's heavily wounded. Whether he survives is up to fate." It seemed his suspicions had been confirmed. He turned to leave.
"Master Black Demon, what should be done with Gui Ying and Xuanwu?"
The Second Elder, covered in wounds and his aura in utter chaos, had just narrowly escaped death's door. Taking a moment to compose himself, he didn't dare dwell on the previous moment—'if the Left and Right Guardians hadn't intervened, would I have died under Zhou Fan's sword?' He stepped forward, cupped his fist at Black Demon, and asked the question.
"Banish them from the lands of Purgatory!"
Without so much as a glance at the Second Elder, let alone Gui Ying and Xuanwu, Black Demon tossed out the sentence. His figure then flickered and vanished. When he reappeared, he was already back in his private chamber within Purgatory.
