When Guan Tong's and Shangyuan Zi's Psychic Powers made contact, they both naturally felt a strange sensation.
Chen Na had said before that after she unlocked her Perception Realm, she could distinguish between different Ascenders just by their Psychic Power, because every Ascender's Psychic Power was unique.
Guan Tong had never felt this before, but he had been paying attention ever since hearing Chen Na talk about it.
Now, he could indeed feel the difference between his Psychic Power and Shangyuan Zi's.
The feeling of her Psychic Power, if put into words, was cold and damp, which certainly made him think of a snake.
"It seems we failed," Shangyuan Zi said a moment later, having felt nothing.
"Yeah."
The two let go of each other's hands. The Mind Network had failed to form.
"It might be my fault. Didn't Zhang Minglu say that the test required the most elite Ascenders? My Psychic Power cap isn't that high, just under seven hundred."
