Finding an empty spot, they let Xiao Yu go play on her own and sat down with a couple of drinks.
"Why so quiet?"
"Should I leave for a bit and give you a chance to hit on some of the beauties here?"
Gao Yuan rolled his eyes at Xiao Xiao.
"I'm still reeling from Queen Xiao's commanding presence!"
"Besides, do you really think your man needs to go hitting on beautiful women? Believe it or not, if I just sit here, there'll be no shortage of them coming over to me."
"Yes, yes, yes!"
"How could the man I've chosen be anything but exceptional!"
In an instant, Xiao Xiao reverted to her persona as the sophisticated and elegant older woman.
As they were chatting, Gao Yuan saw a woman in a bright red dress walk up to them. She casually sat down next to Xiao Xiao and wrapped an arm around her waist.
"Hey beautiful, how could you just abandon me like that?"
"I'm so heartbroken!"
