After a brief silence, cheers erupted at the foot of Putuo Mountain. Soon after, the ministers rushed to inquire about the Empress's condition. Fortunately, Your Majesty had only taken a tumble and suffered no serious injuries, while the Empress and the ladies had merely been frightened.
Lin Zhi and Chu Jing were surrounded by the crowd. Seeing the wound on Chu Jing's back, General Li hurriedly called out, "The Princely Heir is injured! Quickly, fetch an Imperial Physician!"
Chu Jing supported Lin Zhi. "Mrs. Lin, how are you?"
Lin Zhi wanted to smile, but suddenly she felt waves of pain in her abdomen. Her face instantly turned pale. "Husband, my stomach... my stomach hurts..." Her pupils trembled as she gripped his arm, her knuckles turning white from the force.
Chu Jing was bewildered, but then he caught sight of the spreading red pool beneath her. His stomach dropped. "Imperial Physician! Someone, quickly call for an Imperial Physician!"
