She walked as fast as she could, but it was no use against the long legs of the man behind her. He caught up in just a few large strides.
He yanked her by the elbow. "In such a hurry? Don't you want this?"
The lobby was bustling with people, many of whom were now watching them. A chill instantly crept up Nancy Hughes's spine, prickling the back of her neck.
She glanced down at the file in Dylan Heston's hand and said awkwardly, "Um, can you let me go first?"
"Give me a reason?"
'The reason is that you clearly can't see all the women around us, shooting daggers at me with their eyes. They look like they want to murder me!'
"Let me go, there are too many people here!" she said in a low voice, trying to twist her wrist free.
Dylan Heston was unconcerned. To him, the more people, the better. He simply started dragging Nancy Hughes toward the exit.
