Chapter 407 - Chapter 385: He's Really No Fool

Nancy Hughes asked anxiously, "Why didn't you go after her?"

"Why would I chase after her?"

"She likes you!"

"But the person I like is right in front of me!"

Nancy looked up in surprise. 'Is this his roundabout way of confessing to me?'

"I don't like you!" she said, turning her head away.

"I know." Dylan Heston walked inside. "Hurry and wash up. I'll make breakfast."

Flustered by Dylan's confession, she finally came out of the bathroom after washing up. Dylan had already taken on the role of a househusband, with breakfast laid out on the table.

Her stomach betrayed her with a few loud growls. She sat down, picked up her chopsticks, and started to eat.

'Actually, I've always wanted a home. It doesn't have to be a big one. Just having someone there for me when I need them, just like this.'

'But logically, that person shouldn't be Dylan.'

After breakfast, she went to wash the dishes.
