"Haven't we helped him already? All he needs to do is bring Olivia back tonight. There's nothing more for us to do here. Let the two of them spend some time together," the elder Mrs. Fairchild said, her wise eyes brightening considerably.
A glint flashed in Mrs. Fairchild's eyes as she understood. "Mother, are you thinking…" Leaning close to the elder Mrs. Fairchild, she lowered her voice and whispered a few words.
The elder Mrs. Fairchild glanced at her, her voice calm. "What are you thinking? Would I do something so unscrupulous?"
As she spoke, the elder Mrs. Fairchild walked into the elevator.
Mrs. Fairchild stood outside, pouting slightly.
'She totally would.'
'Back in the day, I was the little princess of my family, so spoiled by my parents I didn't know my place. I was completely unaware someone had their eye on me, and that's how I ended up being lured into this family as a daughter-in-law.'
Mrs. Fairchild shook her head, dispelling the memories from her mind.
